Go Yoon-Jung has returned as Naksu’s new female protagonist, replacing their beloved actress Jung So-min, in Season 2 of Alchemy of Souls. South Korean model and actress Go Yoon-Jung is a member of MAA and has appeared in several movies and tv shows. Her return is not easy, as she has to deal with many problems: Naksu should be liberated from her fear of going crazy, and Jin Bu-Yeon should regain complete control over her body.
We have adored every minute of the program that never ceased to amaze us and that established history for Kdramas in the fantasy genre with Alchemy of Souls. To everyone’s dismay, the Korean drama has finished its first season after 20 episodes of high-octane, otherworldly mysteries that have just touched the surface of the game’s enormous lore. The show boasts magnificent cinematography and an all-star ensemble. The show’s second season had always been anticipated.
The latest clip emphasizes the stakes for Jang Wook, who must master the ice stone’s power or risk passing away if he ever pulls it out. The lives of Nak-su and Seo Yul are also depicted in the teaser because they are connected to Jang Wook’s trip. Part 2 of Alchemy of Souls premiered on TvN and Netflix on December 10, 2022. The well-known screenwriter Hong Sisters is responsible for the Korean drama, which tells the tales of youthful wizards navigating heaven and earth.
While the addition of Go Yoon-Jung as the new female protagonist is fantastic for Naksu, not everyone is delighted about having to say goodbye to their beloved Jung So-min. Yoon-Jung as Naksu for season 2 has recently gained attention for their intriguing performances in the medieval fantasy series. Let’s find out more about Naksu and the actress who portrays the part, Go Yoon-Jung.
Actress Go Yoon-Jung Has Returned as Naksu in Alchemy of Souls Season 2: Her Return Will Be Difficult as She Must Regain Complete Control of Her Body!
Although Jung So-min (@somin_ji) did a fantastic job portraying Naksu, it is important to realize that the real assassin must return for the play to continue. Everyone was aware of the discussions about Part 2 before the first episode of Season 1 of the show, so Part 1 wouldn’t have a satisfying conclusion. The purpose of the first season of the show was to set up the second, and honestly, the conclusion wasn’t all that horrible given the potential cliffhangers.
The real female protagonist during this entire time has been Naksu, and Go Yoon-Jung‘s (@goyounjung) return to her real body was inevitable. South Korean model and actress Go Yoon-Jung is a member of MAA and has appeared in several movies and tv shows. We are still hoping for Jung So-min to have a better outcome for Jin Bu-Yeon. Even though it won’t be simple, the Law School actress, Go Yoon-Jung is a skilled performer who captured our attention at the start of episode 1 when she introduced us to her fierce Naksu character.
There is no doubt that the actor who won our hearts in a couple of minutes at the beginning of season 1 can do it again. She started the program, and she even concluded it with a preview of season 2. It is critical to stress that Mu-deok is currently a soul shifter, which exposes her to numerous risks. The K-drama quickly revealed that Mu-deok is the Jin family’s long-lost daughter, Bu-Yeon.
Naksu should be liberated from her fear of going crazy, and Jin Bu-Yeon should regain complete control over her body. Another reason Naksu needs to let go of this weight to get revenge on Jin Mu is that Jin Mu can control a soul shifter, which increases the danger for her.
Even though we may have grown very close to Mu-deok, whose adorable visage is the exact antithesis of that of the murderer Naksu, the change is necessary to intensify the ominous atmosphere. Go Yoon-Jung is the only one who can pull this off, and let’s face it, that brief sequence at the start of episode 1 did win our hearts.
Go Yoon-Jung had already introduced us to the lethal yet alluring Naksu in season 1, but because of Jung So-min’s outstanding work throughout the season, many of us had forgotten just how deadly she is. Investigators in the Daeho area are looking for the shadow assassin known as Naksu because of her propensity for chopping off the heads of wizards. She hurried into an inn to execute the alchemy of souls and enter Mu-deck, alias Jin Bu-body after Park Jin delivered her a fatal wound.
Jin Mu later set fire to her original body while living as Mu-deck and falling in love with Jang Uk. But things don’t always turn out the way we hope, and Jin Mu used the fact that she was a soul shifter to use a magical artifact to seize control of her mind. Naksu was thus forced to go on a rampage, during which she also killed Jang Uk. We were intrigued to learn what had taken place to enable Naksu to reappear in her original body in the second season’s promo.
