Deyjah Harris is an Instagram celebrity who found fame equally for being beautiful and also being the daughter of the famous rapper from Atlanta TI. TI was invited as a guest on the show Ladies Like Us hosted by Nazanin Mandi and Nadia, where they were taking tequila shots and talking about the whole bunch of things. Then the topic turned to parenting, and the hosts asked if “sex-talk” with his daughter happened or not. Well, TI dug himself a large grave and dove headfirst into it after he opened his mouth about sex-talk with his elder daughter Deyjah.
The Atlanta rapper started off by saying, “Not only have we had the conversation — we have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen.” He got a couple of laughs from the hosts on this comment (more on that later). “Yes, I go with her,” the rapper continued.

The thing is, this wasn’t even a one-off event where he suspected something then took his daughter to the OB-GYN. The trips to the gynecologist were something the father and daughter frequented every year as he clarified in his next comment about what he did the night of Deyjah’s 16th birthday. “I put a sticky note on the door: 'Gyno. Tomorrow. 9:30,'” he told the two hosts.
Then, he went on to explain the consent process of how he got the results from the doctors by making his daughter sign a form which allowed him to view the reports. “I’m like, 'Deyjah; they want you to sign this so we can share information. Is there anything you would not want me to know? See, Doc? Ain't no problem,'” TI explained the consent process.

So, when the doctor tried to explain to the rapper about various ways, the hymen could be broken, and just because it is broken doesn’t mean she was involved in sexual activities. TI replied, “Look, Doc, she don’t ride no horses, she don’t ride no bike, she don’t play no sports. Just check the hymen, please, and give me back my results expeditiously.”
Then, after all this, he proudly said, “I will say, as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact.” The hosts moved off the topic “expeditiously,” and they did not push back on any of the comments TI made, but the internet, as we all know, was less forgiving.

When the episode hit and the news of the virginity checking appointments came to light, the internet was ablaze with anger and hate towards TI. Twitter was calling him out and how the appointments and him checking her medical reports was an invasion of privacy and extremely creepy as well as possessive.
After the episode aired and there was a huge backlash against her father, Deyjah took to twitter and wrote, “i loveeeeeee yalllllll.” Then after the anger reached a fever pitch, TI’s daughter liked three tweets criticizing her father and calling him possessive. You can see the tweets below;

The episode on Ladies Like Us was released on 5 November 2019, and after two days, the rapper is still not making any statements on the whole situation. We talked about before about TI getting the consent from his daughter, but the thing is we’ve not heard from Deyjah and how comfortable she was about letting the doctors pass on the reports about her hymen to her father.
Checking for virginity is not an exact science, and it is not always true, which is why WHO calls it a human rights violation of girls and women, and also the painful process cannot prove if the woman girl was active sexually or not.

When TI was talking about getting his daughter to the gynecologist to check her virginity, the two hosts were laughing, and the people listened to the show did not take it kindly. The review for the episode was flooded with one-star ratings and people criticizing the two hosts laughing. This resulted in the episode being pulled (it is back up on Apple podcast after they removed the virginity test bit) from circulation, and about three hours ago, Nazanin Mandi and Nadia posted their apology.
The started by saying they were sorry for the “knee jerk reaction to the uncomfortable topic.” Then they gave an explanation as to why they were laughing by saying both the hosts were caught off guard by the comment.
“The comments that were made and the reaction that followed are not in any way a reflection of our personal views on the topic,” the apology statement continued. “We support and love Women and feel that their bodies are theirs to do as they wish. There was absolutely no ill intent towards any party involved & feel deeply awful about the entire incident.”

Deyjah Harris came to the publics' attention after appearing in his father’s show, The Family Hustle, and she was also famous for being the daughter of TI. But then she started posting pictures on Instagram and became a web star. Most of her half-siblings are also semi-famous, with some going down the music route.

There is enough evidence here to suggest Deyjah’s father is not going to let a single boy around her life as long as she is able to take care of herself. But on the other hand, Deyjah herself clarified her position when it comes to dating before her 18th birthday in her Instagram story.
In her Instagram story, Deyjah wrote, “I just wanna quickly say that just because i’m turning 18 in june…that doesn’t mean 1. that y’all will even get the chance lmaooooooo. 2. more importantly, that still don’t make it right for you grown-ass men to try and get at me.” So Deyjah is making it clear she will find someone when she is ready, and just cause she is 18 doesn’t mean anyone can slide into her DMs and try to woo her.

This also clarifies one thing, Deyjah is still single, and there is no romantic partner/boyfriend in her life. But considering she is in college and finally an adult away from (the clutches of) her father, there may be a higher probability she finds a boyfriend to fall in love with.
