Ian Peck is scheduled to appear in 8 episodes of the British fantasy adventure series His Dark Materials. Although it’s unclear exactly what sort of role Ian is going to play, this definitely looks to a solid project for the actor this time around.

His Dark Materials is based on Phillip Pullman’s novel series of the same name. The story revolves around two children and their magical journey through parallel universes. The production of the series is handled by New Line Cinema for BBC One, while HBO is handling distribution internationally.

Harry Potter is undoubtedly one of the biggest franchises in the world. Therefore, it goes without saying a mere minor appearance is a matter of honor even if you’re playing an extra.

Ian featured in one particular scene in the final Harry Potter film, the seventh in the saga, where he was one of the Death Eaters in Hogsmeade. This is the only time we see Peck in the entire film. Although it was extremely brief, Ian still got credited as one of the casts in the movie.

Based on J. K. Rowling’s books, the Harry Potter series is one of the greatest of all time. So, it’s pretty impressive on Ian’s part to have the finale of the Harry Potter saga in his resume.
