Ms. Ng is the sole child of martial arts legend Chan and actor and former beauty queen Elaine Ng Yi Lei, who had an affair in 1999. Her mother raised her, but local media sources indicate that their relationship has been strained. Etta Ng, who is no longer in contact with Jackie Chan, made a video on YouTube with her girlfriend, Andi Autumn, that was critical of her friends and family. She said;
Due to homophobic parents, we've been homeless for a month. We basically slept under a bridge and other things. We've gone to the cops, the hospitals, the food banks, and the LGBTQ community shelters, and none of them give a s**t. We're at a loss for what to do at this point. We just want to let people know what's going on since it seems ridiculous that no one can help at this stage.
And basically, this was the reason fans called him homophobic, as he was against her daughter's marriage to her girlfriend.
