It has not been announced yet if Netflix’s You season 4 is the last or will continue for season 5. The show has not received a fifth season order from the show, and season 5’s release date has not yet been confirmed by the streaming service. Although no end game for the program has yet been predicted, the odds certainly appear to be in its favor.
After three seasons of murder and adoration-fueled drama, the fourth season of You follows Joe (Penn Badgley) as he leaves the California carnage of the previous season and starts over in London. Joe, it’s Goldberg, who has relocated abroad to carry on with his favorite activity in a new season of You.
You is a psychological thriller series that follows the life of Joe Goldberg and is based on the books of Caroline Kepnes (Penn Badgley). In the first season, Joe is working as a bookstore manager in New York when he meets and falls in love with Guinevere Beck, a budding author (Elizabeth Lail). Because of his obsession, Joe stalks Beck and kills multiple people to get rid of everyone who gets in the way of their romance.
A trail of dead victims is left in Joe Goldberg’s wake as he continues to fall passionately in love with women in Netflix‘s You, which follows our favorite romantic serial killer. Joe has made significant progress in season 3, he is now married and has a newborn child but old habits are hard to break, and he still obsesses about finding the ideal mate.
Without spoiling too much for those who are still watching the most recent episodes of season 4, let’s just say that the new season mixes things up a little bit, with Joe this time becoming the target of surveillance and terror. Enter the Eat the Rich Killer, who has started murdering London’s most prominent individuals and has started a cat-and-mouse game with Joe. Part 2 of the season’s final five episodes will be available on March 9. But in season 4 of Netflix’s You the last season, or are there any more? Let us find out.

It Has Not Been Announced Yet if Netflix’s You Season 4 Is the Last or Will Continue Season 5 as Its Release Date Has Not Yet Been Confirmed by the Streaming Service!
We are not sure if season 4 of You will be the last. Penn Badgley (@pennbadgley) mentioned on Happy Sad Confused that Part 1 of You Season 4 is now available on Netflix. Additionally, he provided a rough schedule for when the show would finish. The former Gossip Girl star claimed that he’d signed a six-year contract and that any additional extension for You would only be one more season, though he cautioned that he didn’t know anything for sure and added that the important goal was keeping the story’s quality.
The first five episodes of season four were released on Netflix on February 9, 2023; however, part two of Joe’s story won’t be available until March 9 of that same year. When it was originally stated that Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble were creating and writing a television series based on Caroline Kepnes‘ book, it was in February 2015. The show was previously proposed by Berlanti and Gamble to Showtime and Netflix but was rejected.
The show was bought by Lifetime, it was announced in January 2017, and by April it had received a 10-episode straight-to-series order. Before the show’s debut in July 2018, Lifetime announced that it had renewed it for a second season. However, it was revealed in December 2018 that Netflix had acquired the series before its second season and that Lifetime had canceled its renewal of the series. The Netflix debut of You Season 2 earned positive reviews from viewers. It was later revealed that You was among the most-watched Netflix programs of 2019.
The program was given a third season order by Netflix in January 2020, and it premiered on October 15, 2021. Netflix declared that it had renewed the program for a fourth season before the third season of the show even started. You’s fourth season was filmed in London from March 21 through August 27, 2022, and is now available on Netflix.
Season 4 of You, might not be the final season, but it could end with a reduced fifth or sixth season, however, its release date or any new updates have not been confirmed yet. The fact that the adaptation of the Caroline Kepnes books knows how to reinvent itself is one of the greatest tricks the program has pulled and the major reason it managed to soar after shifting from Lifetime to Netflix.
It was a rom-com gone awry in You, season 1. And in its most recent episode, a whodunit takes place in London. He now goes by the name of Professor Jonathan Moore and is attempting to fit into the academic world, but knowing Joe, it won’t be simple.
