Kwon Dae Hee lost over 3.5 liters of blood and died on October 6, 2016, as a result of excessive bleeding while undergoing plastic surgery. As seen on the CCTV footage, doctors were responsible for the 25-year-old’s death. While his mother took the case to the court, the hospital paid her $325,000 as compensation.
Kwon Dae Hee, a university student, underwent surgery to have his jaws fixed on September 8, 2016. He had seen an advertisement for Center A, a plastic surgery center in Seoul, and was determined to get a slimmer jawline. According to his mother, Kwon, then 25, was bullied in high school for his prominent chin, which inspired him to undergo cosmetic surgery worth $5,600 (£4,000).
Kwon, on the other hand, fell into a coma for 49 days soon after undergoing surgery. He had lost over 3.5 liters of blood and died on October 6, 2016, as a result of excessive bleeding. After his death, Kwon’s family claims he was the victim of a ghost doctor, a person who performs a surgery rather than another surgeon who was hired to perform while the patient is under general anesthesia.

Kwon Dae Hee’s Plastic Surgery: As Seen on the Cctv Footage, the 25-Year-Old University Student Lost Over 3.5 Liters of Blood and Died as a Result of Excessive Bleeding While Undergoing Surgery in 2016!
In 2016, the late Kwon Dae Hee was piqued by an advertisement from the renowned plastic surgery Center A in Seoul, South Korea. The advertisement for the center read, “14 Years In Business Without A Single Medical Accident,” and it promised the competence of the center’s doctors and staff. The advertisement also stated that the “Head Doctor Operates From Start To Finish,” assuring potential patients that they will be in good, professional, and experienced hands.
The head doctor at Center A initially insisted that nothing had gone wrong during the surgery. The truth — and the most gruesomely shocking truth — was revealed only after Kwon’s mother successfully obtained the CCTV footage that captured the horror of Kwon’s botched operation.
This 4-hour-long video has since been thoroughly analyzed by an anonymous plastic surgeon named Dr. Vendetta (@doctorvendetta), who received permission from Kwon’s mother to share it on his YouTube channel in order to raise public awareness. Prepare yourself, because things are about to get bloody. Now, let’s learn what actually is seen in the footage.
In the CCTV footage, Kwon Dae Hee is found unconscious on the operating table in the video. The doctor soon enters the OR, but he is already dressed in his gown and gloves. That can only mean one thing, says Dr. Vendetta. This doctor is OR-hopping: he must have more surgeries going on in other operating rooms.
An anesthesiologist enters the OR as the operation continues. This anesthesiologist should have been present in the room the entire time to monitor the patient’s vitals, but he is also hopping between multiple ORs. Dr. Vendetta explains that this is due to the doctor having multiple surgeries going on at the same time.
There is no active response when Kwon first begins to lose blood. The operation continues without reintroducing blood into Kwon’s system. When a pool of blood forms on the OR floor, a member of the medical staff in the room mop it up. Dr. Vendetta estimates that about a liter of blood was lost in the first hour…
Throughout the video, Kwon loses an incredible amount of blood, which is mopped or suctioned away. And, much to Dr. Vendetta’s surprise, Kwon does not receive a single bag of blood during the entire operation. Kwon is estimated to have lost 3.5 liters of blood after 13 rounds of mopping.
Kwon Dae Hee’s recovery from surgery was unavoidably hampered. Kwon was transferred to a larger medical facility after all of his vitals dropped to critical levels. Kwon had not been given any blood up until this point. Kwon remained unconscious at the transferred hospital for 49 days before passing away on October 6, 2016.
Only after the video surfaced, Kwon’s mother was able to take Center A to court for failing to provide proper care for Kwon as the patient. While Kwon’s mother expected the head doctor to be punished under the law, the verdict exonerated Center A and awarded the family $325,000 USD in compensation. Even when Kwon’s mother filed an appeal, the court did not investigate further and dismissed the case.
Six years after Kwon’s death, his mother is still committed to telling the truth about Center A and raising awareness among Koreans about the dirty business that goes on behind closed doors. Center A, on the other hand, remains profitable, advertising itself as accident-free and operating on a strict one-doctor-from-start-to-finish system.
