His fortune was estimated to be over $8 billion. He had homes in the United Kingdom, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Switzerland.

According to sources, he had many residences in the UK, which included amenities such as three butlers, six gardeners, and $4.62 million in art. One of his properties was a 33,000-square-foot English estate advertised for $42 million (a price reduction from its original asking price of $65.5 million).
