Paul Adelstein (@pauladelstein) from Cruel Summer is an American actor and writer best known for his roles as Agent Paul Kellerman on Fox‘s Prison Break and as physician Cooper Freedman on ABC‘s Private Practice. He is perhaps best known for his recurrent performances as Leo Bergen on ABC‘s Scandal and Jake Novak on Bravo‘s Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce in addition to having small parts in films like Intolerable Cruelty and Memoirs of a Geisha.

Similarly, the 54-year-old actor also starred as David Sweetzer in the NBC comedy I Feel Bad. Later, he co-created and co-wrote the dark comedy TV series Imposters, which aired on Bravo for two 10-episode seasons in 2017 and 2018; he is listed as a writer on six episodes. Parker School before attending Bowdoin College, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude with a degree in English.
