Phil Kessel is one of the key players in the National Hockey League. And fans have been curious to know if he has a girlfriend. Here is what we know about Phil's relationship status.

Phil is currently dating his girlfriend Sandra Pereira. Phil and Sandra appear to have begun dating in 2015 and have been steadily growing in love since then. Sandra is a self-proclaimed foodie and animal lover who is speculated to be from Canada.

Sandra has over 4000 Instagram followers and uses the platform to show off her lifestyle and her adorably beautiful puppy Coco. Pereira also appears to be a music fan, as seen by his attendance at a Drake performance in 2015. Fishing is something they enjoy doing together, and they also appear to enjoy matching Halloween costumes. In 2015, they dressed up as a pair of tennis players.

On the other hand, Phil's ice hockey abilities have earned him a sizable Instagram following. Phil is less active and prefers to publish professional stuff over personal content. However, Phil had shared a one-of-a-kind photo of 2022 on Instagram, which featured his girlfriend Sandra Pereira. As the post was captioned, "Almost Time," it was evident that his partner was pregnant and that they were expecting a child very soon.

Everyone thought Sandra and Phil had something unique from the start of their relationship. They don't share much about their love life on social media, though. On November 4, 2021, Sandra announced her pregnancy on Instagram by posting a picture of herself with a baby bump. Phil was also included in the image, and he appeared to be pleased with the possibility of becoming a father.

Sandra and Phil live a lavish lifestyle and they are, nevertheless, extremely attached to what they admire, and now that they have a child together, they may want to marry and take their romance to new levels. Definitely during the season Phil and his girlfriend will not get married, but during the offseason, keep yourself locked in with their socials, a proposal might be on the way.

Every parent fantasizes about the event of the birth of their first child. However, for Arizona Coyotes captain Phil Kessel, that particular occasion occurred in the middle of a road trip, almost endangering his record iron man streak. Fortunately for Kessel, his teammates stepped up to the plate to assist him.

In the Coyotes' game against the Red Wings in Detroit, Tuesday, Kessel skated one shift, totaling 30 seconds. He immediately left the game to go to the airport, where the team had arranged for a charter flight back to Phoenix so he wouldn't miss his child's birth.

Coyotes later announced on Twitter that he would not return for that game and he had gone for the birth of his child. Kessel is set to return to the lineup against his old team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, at Scotiabank Arena on Thursday, according to Craig Morgan of GoPHNX.com.

Kessel was able to extend his iron man streak to 956 games by skating that one shift. It's the third-longest game streak in NHL history, and he's only eight games behind Doug Jarvis, who had the record for more than 24 years until Keith Yandle broke it in January with 964. Yandle, who has yet to miss a game and was in the lineup for the Flyers on Tuesday night, has a streak of 978 games, 22 more than Kessel.
