Acting runs in the blood of Emily Osment, she is the daughter of actor Michael Eugene Osment, and even though her mother Theresa Osment is not an actor (she's an English teacher), her brother and father were the reason she got into acting. Her brother Haley Joel Osment is an Academy Award-nominated actor who was one of the most sought after child-actors in the late 90s and early 2000s.
