Wonyoung has held the industry’s center position since her debut with Iz*One and has only strengthened her position with the success of her group IVE. When an idol receives so much love, they frequently receive equal amounts of hate. In the case of Wonyoung, many envious netizens couldn’t believe her appearance wasn’t fabricated and frequently accused her of undergoing plastic surgery.
Wonyoung has almost perfect looks, and she is frequently complimented on her small face size as well as her ability to have distinct facial features. Many people have praised young’s small physique, with some even saying she looks like a real-life Barbie doll. Furthermore, some comments imply that Wonyoung has undergone plastic surgery. However, Wonyoung has never officially stated that she underwent plastic surgery on her face or body.

South Korean publication, Netizens unanimously agreed with the author and defended the idol against rumors that she had undergone plastic surgery. Netizens also argued that even if she did have surgery, the idol should not be held accountable for it.
