Tom Payne is an English actor who was born on 21st December 1982 in Chelmsford, Essex. Raised in Bath, Somerset, Tom attended King Edward's school where he made a significant contribution to the drama department.
The actor who graduated from Royal Central School of Speech & Drama in June 2005, is best known for his appearance on the small screen as Paul 'Jesus' Rovia in AMC's The Walking Dead from 2016 to 2018.

Although their dating endeavors are well known, it was only during the episode of Talking Dead where he confirmed they got engaged.
During the aftershow of The Walking Dead, Chris Hardwick asked the actor about the demise of his character to which Payne replied,
I got the call like, an episode before and I was texting my girlfriend, now fiancée…
Hardwick then interrupted Tom and congratulated him.

Akerman, who is the sister of actress Malin Akerman, was previously linked to Tom Cruise in 2012. The rumors soon died down after the Mission Impossible actor publically denied the affair.
Meanwhile, Payne is six years older than Jennifer, and the duo is enjoying a blissful life together. However, it remains to be seen when the pair takes their relationship forward and decides to get married.

During an interview with Women's Health Magazine in 2017, Payne spilled the beans on the secrets to their excellent relationship. The actor said,
She was the first person who wasn't afraid to challenge me and call me on my s***.
The Walking Dead star continued, "A few weeks in, we had an argument on the street, and I said to her, 'I don't do this!' I was in a relationship for ten years before this one, and we never argued, mainly because I always had the power. But with this relationship, it's a fifty-fifty split. We're totally invested."
Meanwhile, back in 2013, Akerman featured as a celebrity dancer on Let's Dance.

Payne was critically acclaimed for his performance as Paul Rovia, more commonly known by his companions as Jesus in the post-apocalyptic horror series The Walking Dead.
Jesus is a survivor and one of the main characters in the AMC series. He makes his debut appearance in season 6 episode 10 titled 'The Next World'.
