For fans of CBS’s long-running reality competition Survivor, Aubry Bracco is a familiar and formidable face. She first captured the hearts of viewers during her debut on Survivor: Kaôh Rōng in 2016, where her cerebral and emotional gameplay carried her all the way to the Final Tribal Council, ultimately earning the runner-up title. She returned for two more grueling seasons—Game Changers and Edge of Extinction—before landing a spot on the show’s landmark 50th season, a testament to her lasting impact on the game.
While her on-screen journey is a thrilling tale of strategy and resilience, perhaps the most profound transformation in her life has occurred away from the cameras. Since her last appearance on the island, Bracco has stepped into a new and cherished role: that of a mother. Her personal life has blossomed, offering a sense of balance and purpose that she now brings with her every time she faces the unpredictable challenges of Survivor.

Finding Love and Starting a Family
For her first three Survivor appearances, Aubry Bracco was single. However, shortly after filming Edge of Extinction, she met her current boyfriend, Tyler Morrow. A native of Lowell, Massachusetts, Morrow entered Bracco’s life just as she was beginning her journey away from the reality TV community. The couple made their relationship public on social media in August 2020, with Bracco expressing her gratitude for having him in her world.

Their relationship soon deepened. In the summer of 2023, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Odin James Morrow (affectionately called “Odie”), who was born on August 22, 2023. The name Odin, which Bracco noted means “god of chaos and wisdom,” is a perfect fit for the child of a Survivor legend. Since becoming a parent, Bracco has often spoken about how her son is her greatest motivation, saying, “No matter what I face I know I have the fire to overcome and have nothing to lose because I already have it all at home”.
While some sources refer to Morrow as her husband, others describe him as her partner, but their commitment to each other and their family is undeniable.

Life Beyond the Island
Motherhood has given Bracco a renewed perspective, not just on life but also on the game that made her famous. She has described the Survivor community as potentially “very toxic” and has consciously stepped away at times to protect her well-being and now, her young family. This new mindset has fueled a “fearless” approach to her fourth outing on the show, as she plays not just for a prize, but to “celebrate failure” and demonstrate resilience for her son.
Off the island, Bracco has built a multifaceted career. The Brown University graduate is a writer, photographer, videographer, and social media marketer who now runs her own marketing consultancy firm in New Hampshire. She often credits her grandmother, Madeline, who was the first Woman of the Year at the New York Daily News, as her greatest inspiration. By building a rich and fulfilling life away from the competition, Aubry Bracco proves that she is a true survivor in every sense of the word—whether she is outwitting her opponents on the beach or building a loving home off of it.
