After a period of soul searching and self-analysis, Clive Davis divorced his second wife in 1985, and he claims to have since had concurrent relationships with two women and a male. Then, in 1990, he began a monogamous relationship with a male doctor who shall remain nameless. Davis claims that ever since the romance ended in 2004, he has been in a relationship with a different man. Also, at a time he claimed that his current partner travels and attends professional events with him, but he would not identify him out of respect for his privacy.

But after my second marriage collapsed, he allowed himself to consider having a relationship with a man in addition to the two he had with women.
