Edward George Skrein was born on 29 March 1983 in Camden, London, England to his parents who are of Jewish Austrian descent. The lineage of Ed runs back to 1811, and he is the carrier of the two-century-old name from his great grandparents to now. Growing up in England, Ed was involved in the rap game, but then he switched his focus to acting with the actor set to appear in Midway and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil this year.
While growing in England he enrolled in a high school and passed out to enroll in Byam Shaw School of Art where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in fine art painting. By the time he was out of his teenage and finishing his education, Ed was involved in music, especially of the rap genre. He released an EP in 2004 and then followed it up with a full album in 2007, but the success was not there for his rap career which made him switch careers and focus on acting.

The actor was struggling and playing whatever roles he could find in the early 2010s, but then the role of a lifetime landed on his lap and he took it with both arms. The people from Game of Thrones called and he was off to play Daario Naharis in the hit show's third season, but after only three appearances in three episodes, the actor was replaced with Michiel Huisman in the fourth season.
Why was Ed Skrein Replaced as 'Daario Naharis' in 'Game of Thrones' Season 4?
Ed Skrein played the character of Daario Naharis in the third season of Game of Thrones.
In season three of Game of Thrones, Daenerys Targaryen was looking to assemble an army to sail with her to Westeros and take back the seven kingdoms which she deems is her right. In her quest, she comes across the second sons and one of the warriors of the Daario Naharis who is taken by Targaryen.
Ed Skrein played the role when he made the first appearance in the eighth episode of season four. He went on to play the character in the next two episodes and then the season was over, but during the season's break, the actor was let go and Michiel Huisman was hired to play the role going forward in season four and beyond.

The reason for the replacement was simple, he was not a good fit for the character and the way his getup was presented in the series did not help his case in keeping the actor in. They put a giant wig on him, clean shaved the man and then put girly chest-length locks, which fell down his face and the whole appearance was in shambles.
If you watched Game of Thrones casually, then you probably never even realized the two actors were switched, because of how well Michiel fit the role. It worked out fine for both parties though, so, maybe there is no ill-will between the two parties.
Playing 'Ajax' in 'Deadpool' and his Upcoming Movies 'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil' and 'Midway'
In 2015, a video leaked on the internet which showed Deadpool killing people on the freeway and the success of the video resulted in the actor Ryan Reynolds successfully pitching a feature-length movie based on the character. 20th Century Fox got the team together and the movie was released in 2016. Ryan was obviously great in the film, but there was another person who stole the scenes he was in.
Ed Skrein played the character of Ajax in the movie, a shady muscle man who is the one who experiments on Ryan Reynolds' character Wade. The battle between the two is the basis of the first film and he was amazing as the main villain of the movie.

The first major starring role of the actor's career was in the movie The Transporter Refueled. Transporter series is a Jason Statham vehicle and Ed was cast as his son in this remake/continuation of the story. The movie was panned by the critics, but the performance of the actor was praised.
In 2019, the actor appeared in the James Cameron produced film Alita: Battle Angel. He played the character of Zapan, an antagonist in the movie and again, the actor was great, but the movie was not a success by any measure.

But just because Alita failed doesn't mean 2019 won't be an amazing year for the actor. He is playing Borra in the sure to be a hit Maleficent Mistress of Evil and is also portraying a real-life United States Lieutenant Dick Best in the World War II movie Midway.
Relationship with His Son; What about His Wife?
Ed Skrein welcomed his son Marley Skrein a little while ago.
Ed Skrein is the father of one, he's got a son named Marley Skrein with whom he shares a close bond. He is shy, or maybe he is intentionally not sharing pictures of his son on social media, but the images we did find show the two enjoying a close relationship.
Marley is of mixed race and we are uncertain of the child's mother and her whereabouts. Ed is not married to a wife and neither is he currently in a relationship, he is only focused on his career and taking care of his beautiful son.
