Chris Hemsworth's new upcoming movie Thor: Love and Thunder's teaser has fans convinced the Marvel superhero is gay. Fans went to Twitter to express their joy at the thought of Thor playing a gay character in the upcoming film.
Christopher "Chris" Hemsworth (born August 11, 1983) is a well-known Australian actor. He rose to notoriety in the Australian television series Home and Away (2004–2007) as Kim Hyde before embarking on a film career in Hollywood. Hemsworth began portraying Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and starred in several Marvel films, including The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.
Star Trek, Snow White and the Huntsman, Red Dawn, Blackhat, Men in Black: International, Extraction, the drama A Perfect Getaway, and the comedy Ghostbusters are his other cinematic performances. Among Hemsworth's most highly lauded films is the comedic horror The Cabin in the Woods and the biographical sports picture Rush, in which he played James Hunt.

Thor: Love and Thunder seems to be bringing gay Thor into the mix or even bisexual, it seems.

Chris Hemsworth (@chrishemsworth) in a new teaser of Thor: Love and Thunder aired on Monday, April 2022, and some fans believe the hammer-wielding Marvel hero will be gay in the flick. Thor seemed to give Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) a lingering stare in the new clip, which previews Chris Hemsworth's title character's retirement, which many eagle-eyed tweeters thought to be a glimpse of the God of Thunder's sexuality.
However, Thor flanks the Guardians of the Galaxy, including Star-Lord, Nebula (Karen Gillan), Drax The Destroyer (Dave Bautista), and Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Groot (Vin Diesel), & Rocket (Bradley Cooper). People are outraged by the possibility that Thor is gay. The admirer said, that boy's a God & he is obviously dabbled.
"Remember what I told you if you ever feel lost," Chris Pratt's (@prattprattpratt) character, 42, tells Chris Hemsworth's character, 38. "Just stare into the eyes of the individuals you care about." Thor lifts his head comically to look affectionately into Star-eyes. In answer, Star-Lord responds, "Not me." Thor glances aside, puzzled, and says, "What? "I'm just listening." This dialogue has flooded the internet, and the viewers are curious about the movie and Thor's character.
However, the storyline of Thor: Love and Thunder focus on thor discovering who he truly is while traveling in space with the guardians of the galaxy. The trailer teases Russell Crowe's debut as Zeus and Natalie's portman returning to the franchise for the first time since 2013 to play Jane Foster. Thor enlists the support of Valkyrie, Korg, and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster to combat Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who wants to extinguish the gods.
But nothing is off the table, and if Disney wasn't pushing all this gay stuff. However, the trailer that seems to imply some romance between the two has flooded the internet. Looking at each series, Chriss Pratt likes somebody, and Chris Hemsworth dated Natalie Portman in his series. At least there was a love interest between the characters, and it would be a massive curveball for the two main lead characters.
On the other hand, the Marvel fans are going far with the clip because it may be just a romance or something funny. It is supposed to be comedic relief. However, fans flocked to Twitter to express their delight at the prospect of Thor having a "gay awakening" in the forthcoming film. Similarly, another fan claimed that Thor has been gay since Taika Waititi's last film Thor: Ragnarok: Skull Island.
"'Look into the eyes of those you love,' oh Thor, you queer as hell," one Twitter user responded. "Thor: Love & Thunder is a gays-only event," said another. Another Twitter user screamed, "Thor's gay awakening!" Finally, this fan theorized that Thor and Star-Lord would have a love relationship during the Thor series saying, THOR IS GAY !!!!!!!! WE WON.
Is Thor Gay In Marvel Comics?
According to Marvel literature, Thor isn't canonically gay in Marvel Comics, but many of his friends are. Thor has had romances with many characters, including Jane Foster, Sif, Enchantress, Valkyrie, Shawna Lynde, Lorelei, Bloodaxe, and She-hulk.
However, the source material does say that Thor is gay, and only time will tell if this is explored in Thor: Love and Thunder. Similarly, Thor: Love and Thunder will premiere in the United States on July 8, 2022. The fans are eagerly waiting for the film and the film's critique is n the soar.
