Tandy won the Miss California title on 15th October 2006 becoming the first student from Chaffey College to win the award. The state pageant was held in San Rafael, California. This was Meagan's second attempt to win the contest as she finished fourth a year earlier.
The model was also honored with the Best Swimsuit Award in Miss California USA pageant 2007. The same year, she competed for Miss USA 2007 held in Los Angeles, California, where she finished 3rd runner up.
Meanwhile, Tandy is currently a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Impressively, she's filmed several national commercials during her stint.
