The Netflix sitcom revolves around Timmy Yoon, the manager of the world's last operating Blockbuster store. When Timmy is unexpectedly faced with the need to run the store without a head office to support and guide him, his coworker Eliza Walker (Melissa Fumero) steps in.

Eliza, who is in a troubled relationship with her ex-husband Aaron, assists Timmy in sailing the Blockbuster boat without endangering the lives of the employees. Eliza develops feelings for Timmy as her relationship with Aaron fails to meet any of her emotional needs.

She gushed on Instagram about Enzo's arrival, saying he had the sweetest face she had ever held. After she announced her pregnancy in November 2019, the former co-stars welcomed their second child, a son named Axel Fumero, on February 14, 2020. Since Axel's birth, the couple admitted that Valentine's Day has become their favorite holiday.

Melissa met her spouse, David, who once appeared in a Mariah Carey music video. She was 13 years old when she saw her future husband for the first time. At the time, David was a young model. He made a brief cameo in Mariah Carey's 1997 hit single "Honey" music video.
