Famous Twitch streamer Reckful was reported dead on 2nd July 2020, but are you aware he made a pretty huge gesture prior to his death?
A tragic, shocking piece of news was recently announced as Twitch gamer and YouTuber Byron Bernstein, best known online as Reckful was reported to have taken his own life.
Merely hours before he died, he had tweeted a number of times. One of those Twitter posts was, in fact, a marriage proposal – but to whom?

On the same day he passed away, Reckful made an online wedding proposal via Twitter to a girl named Becca, Reckful’s Ex GF, who he believed was still in love with.
Taking to Twitter, Reckful wrote, “I know I’ll always be a little too crazy… and this is proof… but at least you’ll never be bored. Will you marry me, Becca?”
He also added three old pictures of the former couple from their dating days.
It is assumed the two abruptly split and definitely were not formally together at the time of the proposal. No one is quite aware, though, as to why they parted ways.
Reckful’s former GF Becca is another prominent Twitch streamer with more than 350,000 followers on the streaming website.
DO NOT make her feel pressured to say yes, i am completely insane here
i have not seen her in 6 months.
the reason for the post is
I know she’s the one i want forever, and I wanted her to know my commitment is real

Reckful then made another post where he said, “DO NOT make her feel pressured to say yes, I am completely insane here. I have not seen her for 6 months. The reason for this post is I know she’s the one I want forever, and I wanted her to know my commitment is real.”
How Did Reckful’s Ex GF Becca Respond?
Becca used her Twitter handle to compose a Twitlonger post after her former boyfriend Byron Bernstein died, called “RIP July 2, 2020.”
She claims she did not see the proposal until it was too late, but it does not alter the reality that she could not be there for him when he needed her.
Becca then proceeded to speak about how she does not understand much about depression and mental health conditions and thinks there needs to be a better help for those with mental stress.
She eventually acknowledged the split saying, “We loved each other but it came with its difficulties. I was insanely insecure when it came to him, I couldn’t even recognize myself. I don’t feel that I was able to be the person that he needed in his life.”
Becca concluded: “I will do my best to live as the best human I can be, byron. I promise. Rest in peace.”

On July 2, it was revealed the popular streamer Reckful had tragically passed away.
His brother Gary Bernstein announced the story and disclosed he had taken his own life at the age of 31. His former girlfriend Blue also unveiled the news in a series of heartbreaking tweets.
I… I’m at a loss right now. Something I’ve been scared of happening for so long happened. I can’t stop crying. It’s so painful. Please no.

Back in January, Reckful uploaded a video on his YouTube channel titled, “Reckful is no longer depressed for the first time in 16 years.” In the clip, he explained his mental health struggle, revealing he feels much better than he had ever been before.
Six months later, however, he wrote on his Twitter: “Please just know in these situations the insane person does not feel in control of their actions.”
Then merely hours later, it was revealed Reckful had committed suicide.
