Scott Speedman will be joining the cast of Netflix’s You season 3.
The Netflix series You added Scott Speedman to the upcoming season 3. Deadline notes the 45-year-old former Felicity actor will be playing Matthew, a wealthy CEO, husband, and non-communicative father, in season 3 of the Netflix thriller.
Matthew is described as
reserved, at times mysterious, and has a tendency to be withdrawn, all of which masks a deep well of emotion underneath.
Scott will be joining Penn Badgley (Joe Goldberg), Victoria Pedretti (Love Quinn), Travis Van Winkle, and Shalita Grant in the season ahead.

‘You’ follows Joe Goldberg (Badgley) as he travels from New York to Los Angeles to escape his life, and begins with a new name.

Meanwhile, the lead star Penn Badgley recently revealed why fans are so obsessed with Joe.
Penn Badgley portrays an obsessive killer on the hit Netflix show You, and yet too many fans can’t help crush for the character. The former Gossip Girl star shared his idea as to why this might be the case.
He told In Style,
Part of the strangeness of the concept for me is exactly why we’re all watching: Why are we making it? Why is it doing so well? These are interesting questions that have something to do with where we are all at, societally.
The actor added,
There are times where Joe is so impossibly sympathetic and even honest and brave. Sometimes he’s the exact perfect balance between chivalrous and allowing his partner to be autonomous and empowered. He’s actually in some ways made to be the perfect guy that does this really — to even say it’s terrible is kind of an understatement — thing.
Netflix is yet to officially announce the release date of You season 3.
