Sofia Hublitz Plays Charlotte Byrde in Ozark Season 4
Netflix's beloved crime drama series Ozark is back with its fourth and final season. Following a bang at the close of the third season, Ozark begins its fourth and final arc with a nail-biting feeling of purpose, as the Byrdes continue their deadly dance with individuals you don't want to be on their bad side. This Netflix thriller, which ups the role of the kids without losing any of its impacts, is one of the greatest on television, unfolding in a constant state of dread.
The Byrdes' connection with Omar Navarro played by Felix Solis, the drug kingpin who speaks gently but has previously demonstrated his ruthlessness, is the focus of the divided final season. “Every year we want our worlds to get bigger and bigger and, at the same time, emotionally, we want to circle back on the people you care about the most,” series showrunner Chris Mundy told in an interview with The Post. “The Byrde family’s relationship with each other, their relationship with Ruth, her relationship with Wyatt — you want all these themes pointed at each other, and more intensely, as you go forward. "
Created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams, season 4 premieres on Jan. 21, Friday and is divided into two seven-episode arcs. While the action picks up from the point where Omar Navarro executes his attorney Helen Pierce played by Janet McTeer, back at their home, Wendy and Marty's 14 years old son Jonah played by Skyler Gaertner is offering to launder money for the drug-distribution partnership. While Jonah’s older sister, Charlotte played by Sofia Hublitz, is “playing the good soldier”. Much more is expected from the actresses' performance in the final season.
“There’s a lot going on but it’s all driven by family,” as said by Mundy in the interview. “Marty and Wendy are the most together and focused on the goal and on the same page than they’ve been in any season, but Jonah sort of breaks from the family for the first time … so there’s that first little bit of a crack between them centering on parenting and how to move forward as a family.” It's been said that the second half of Season 4 will determine whether the series and the Byrdes can keep that momentum going all the way to the conclusion and give the series a proper sendoff. So far, the show has been a proper hit!
The cast includes Jason Bateman as Martin "Marty" Byrde, Laura Linney as Wendy Byrde, Sofia Hublitz as Charlotte Byrde, Skylar Gaertner as Jonah Byrde, Julia Garner as Ruth Langmore, Jordana Spiro as Rachel Garrison, Jason Butler Harner as Roy Petty, Esai Morales as Camino "Del" Del Rio, Peter Mullan as Jacob Snell, Lisa Emery as Darlene Snell, and many more!
