Tamara Smart was born on 14 June 2005 in North London to her parents, father Cornelius Smart, and mother, Fiona Smart. She was born Tamara Valerie Smart and was raised by her parents around her birthplace.
From a young age, Tamara showed an affinity towards performing, which resulted in her parents getting her in a dance school for young kids. She was only three years old when she joined the DanceCrazy Studio, later moving on to theatre, where she developed her passion for acting.

The story follows a reluctant Babysitter who takes care of her ward only for Halloween monsters to kidnap the kid resulting in her going on a hunt to find the child and get him back before his mother comes home.

But when Kelly loses the kid to a kidnapping plot, she realizes she is part of a group of a monster-hunting group tasked with protecting kids. With her new friends’ help, Kelly goes on her new journey, which will take her through some terrifying horrors.

Netflix is releasing the new movie on 15 October 2020. The cast of the A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting is led by Tamara Smart as Kelly Ferguson, Oona Laurence as Liz Lerue, Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson as Berna Vincent, Lynn Masako Cheng as Cassie, Ty Consiglio as Curtis Critter, and Harry Potter fame actor Tom Felton playing The Great Guignol.

Tamara Smart was only three-years-old when she joined a dance academy. The actress fell in love with dancing and carried on with the artform, which came in handy later in her career. She was also involved in modeling from a young age.
She was involved in the marketing campaign of New Look and Marks and Spencer. But modeling was never her end goal as Tamara was aiming to make it big on the small and big screen, and soon her dream became a reality.

After getting her first exposure through dancing, Tamara Smart joined Razzamatazz. The actress also found theatre interesting, which resulted in her getting interested in performing in front of the camera. Soon she was off going from audition to audition and landing some big roles.
Her first role was in the Hulu series Hard Sun where she had a small part. Then she was off to her first major production in The Worst Witch, where Tamara played Enid Nightshade in over 40 episodes.
