She is most known for her work on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 1997 to 2006, as well as the creation of the comedy series 30 Rock. She primarily focuses on improvisational comedy, sketch comedy, and satire as a comedian. However, her comedy tends to explore a wide range of subjects, including American politics, American culture, pop culture, human interaction, social awkwardness, current events, and self-deprecation.

Tina has worked on a variety of films and television shows, including as an actress, narrator, and producer. She is popular among several fans, and they notice everything about your personal life, including your appearance. The same has happened with her; we can all notice a mark on her chin. So, how did she get it?

Earlier, we discussed the stories of Donald Trump Jr and Mao Zedong.

During Tina Fey’s Childhood, She Had an Incident Due to Which She Got a Mark on Her Chin

Tina Fey had a small cut in her face that left behind a scar. Without a doubt, the 53-year-old star has a beautiful appearance, and it doesn't degrade her beauty, but there are fans and her well-wishers who will always want to know the true story behind her mark. Well, Fey and her husband, Jeff Richmond, spoke to Vanity Fair in 2008. During the conversation, Richmond shared an incredible story of the mark. He said;

It was in, like, the front yard of her house, and somebody just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen.

Tina didn't go into too much detail about it, instead turning the entire thing into a very good stand-up comedy routine part. Even though Fey was only 5 years old at the time, a random stranger attacked her and cut her face, leaving a permanent mark. While it is awful enough when an adult is attacked unexpectedly, it is repugnant that someone could inflict such harm on a little child.

She claimed that many people were present when the accident occurred. 'She was there.' She witnessed it. Because of this, adults were kind to her. Long after she was too old for presents, aunts and family friends brought her Easter chocolates and oversized Hershey's Kisses. She was made to feel unique. Fey, on the other hand, handled the trauma well and didn't notice the accompanying mark until she was an adult.

Tina Fey’s Mark on Her Chin Didn’t Affect Her Career!

Although Tina Fey doesn't talk about the mark in her autobiography, she mentions it briefly. As per the Reddit discussion, there is the line, 'You're the only one who can control that. You are the only one who has control over that. It's evident that it was terrible for her, but it's also clear that in her mind, it was just a thing that happened, and she's all about getting on with her life.

She has proven to have a fantastic perspective on the problem on the rare occasions when she has discussed how her mark has influenced her life and didn't affect her career. Tina, for example, almost made it appear in her memoir Bossypants that obtaining a mark after a childhood attack was a net positive for her life. She stated that how others react to her mark teaches her a lot about them. Because of this, children recognized her.

She said, Those sweet dumdums, she doesn't mind. When her friend Ricky asked saying; Did they ever catch the black guy who did that to you? She replied; Hmmm. Ricky, it wasn't a black guy, and I never said it was. She explains that she doesn't want people to feel sorry for her or use her mark to act out a Lifetime movie scene.

She has always been able to tell a lot about people, whether or not they inquire about her mark. Most people never ask, but if it comes up casually and she tells her story, they are intrigued. She joked, saying some people are simply stupid; they say, Did you get scratched by a cat?' God bless. Tina then discussed how her facial scar gave her an overblown feeling of self-confidence. She even said it was a little version of a celebrity.
