Where Does Netflix’s Dream Home Makeover Take Place? Cities in Utah Served as Filming Locations for the Entire Season 4!

The fourth season of Dream Home Makeover takes place in several cities in Utah. The renowned reality television makeover program has so far published six episodes of season 4 on Netflix. Episodes 1 and 6 were filmed in Salt Lake City, while episode 2 took place in Mill Creek, following episodes 3 in Lehi and episode 4 in Charleston.

One of the most popular home remodeling programs on Netflix, Dream Home Makeover, allows viewers to watch how various homes are transformed. The reality show follows Shea and Syd McGee as they own Studio McGee and offer remodeling services. For the team, it's critical to consider their client's needs while also making sure that the finished product complements the homeowners' aesthetic.

Syd and Shea McGee have grown significantly since establishing their interior design business, Studio McGee, in 2014 and their online retailer, McGee & Co., in 2016. About ten years ago, Shea posted her first Instagram photos of interior design projects. Since then, the husband-and-wife pair from Utah has been steadily gaining followers. But their reputation truly took off after the debut of their Netflix series, Dream Home Makeover.

The reality show debuted immediately in October 2020. Dream Home Makeover follows Shea and Syd McGee of Studio McGee as they execute home renovation projects for clients while also working on their own dream home that they're building from the ground up.

Season 4 is back on Netflix with their hosts and new clients. With its release, viewers are curious to know its filming location. So where does Netflix's Dream Home Makeover take place? All the details are right here.

Previously, we touched on Tyler.

The Fourth Season of Netflix’s Dream Home Makeover Takes Place in Several Cities in Utah!

The fourth season of Netflix's Dream Home Makeover takes place in several cities in Utah, but the founder of Studio McGee (@studiomcgee) didn't go as far as they did for season 3 location. The renowned reality television makeover program has so far published six episodes of season 4. The six episodes, each of which lasts for about 30 minutes, are all currently available to view.

Syd and Shea McGee began the most recent season by renovating a kitchen for a member of the Studio McGee staff. The task list goes on to instruct them to renovate a bathroom, a trailer, a toy area, and more. Even though the most recent season of Dream Home Makeover doesn't feature as many backdrops as previous ones, there are still plenty of reasons to watch it.

As per Showbiz Cheat Sheet, Episode 1 of Dream Home Makeover took place in Utah's Salt Lake City. Syd and Shea rebuilt Teresa's kitchen in episode 1 because she has been a longtime employee of theirs. Teresa used to oversee customer service, but she is now in charge of one of the biggest teams in the organization.

The second episode takes place in Mill Creek, Utah. In Episode 2 of The Mother of All Remodels, the pair traveled to Mill Creek to restore the home of mother-son team Helen and Jim. In Lehi, Utah, the third episode was filmed. Lehi, which is located in the north-central portion of the Utah Valley and crosses Interstate 15, is one of the most historically significant communities in the area. In episode 3, the pair visited the Blasdales, who have two children and reside in a community that welcomes families. In addition to other issues, Shea and Syd assisted them in finding solutions.

The fourth episode of Dream Home Makeover aired in Charleston, Utah. South-southwest of the Heber Valley in northern Utah is where Charleston, Utah, is situated. Our community is surrounded by the towns of Midway to the north, Heber City to the east, the Wallsburg Rise to the south, and Deer Creek Reservoir to the west. It is located in the southwest corner of the valley. Episode 4 moves from the living room to the library. In episode four, Syd and Shea renovated Darin and Sarah's old pioneer home. Their house dates to the 1800s.

Utah was the setting for Episode 5. Syd purchases a camper in episode five so that he can go camping with Shea and the kids. Shea is unaware of this, though, and Syd is hoping to persuade her by allowing her to redesign the interior. According to the episode's synopsis:

Shea is in for a treat from Syd: an Airstream! Shea imagines a tricked-out trailer while stepping outside of her comfort zone, but is this even conceivable?

And finally, Episode 6 took place in Salt Lake City. In the last episode, Cindy and Connor needed their master bathroom renovated, so the couple met with them. Since they moved in last September, they have wanted to remodel their house.

Syd and Shea McGee have lived in rental properties for the past five years after selling their California house and devoting all of the proceeds to starting their two businesses. They purchased land in Lehi, Utah, in a nice, quiet cul-de-sac away from the bustle of the main city, and they began construction on their house from scratch.

Given that Utah is where Studio McGee's headquarters are, it might make sense that they spend the majority of Dream Home Makeover Season 4 there. Every episode of the show spends a notable amount of time in their home, and viewers can watch as the husband and wife duo painstakingly decorate their home.
