Based on the book 44 Chapters About 4 Men by B. B. Easton, the Netflix show is about dull repetitious life and seeking thrill from past. It is a contrast of perfect home life versus longing for the toxic fiery relationship of the past. The critics are calling it hard to watch, unintentionally funny and more mixed reaction, but it is shooting up the charts on Netflix.
According to the official synopsis, Sex/Life follows, "A suburban wife and mother takes a fantasy-charged trip down memory lane that sets her present on a collision course with her wild-child past." When a marriage gets too dull for a house wife she seeks out her past and this results in her two reality heading for a collision course.
Adam Demos plays Brad Simon in Sex/Life. He is the former lover of Billie Connelly and the two meet again when Billie is looking for more thrill in her life. Brad and Billie's offer put her family life in jeopardy but in the end what would she chose is the question which Brad tries to make a little easier for her.
