Corentin Fila grew up in an artistic household but he did not think the world of acting and performing was form him. She is known for her performances in Djam and hit European series Versailles. Daphne played Eleanor of Austria in the Canal+ series which won awards and put the actress on a map for the international audiences.

Mortel is a French supernatural show featuring voodoo magic, a murder mystery and themes of what happens when deals are made with the devil. The show was released in 2019 and after some moderately well received reviews by critics as well as fans, a second season was ordered and it is coming to Netflix this July.

The story follows, "Two teenagers, Sofiane and Victor, make a pact with a voodoo god Obé to allow them solve and avenge the apparent murder of Sofiane's brother, Reda." They later realize the problem of their ways and enlist some additional help to make sure Obe is not free. The first season follows the murder mystery and the two teens' desire to be free of Obe's grips.
Corentin Fila plays the voodoo god Obe in Mortel. Obe comes to the aid of the two teenagers but he also has some ulterior motives to giving mortal people powers. The character will be back for season two of the hit supernatural series.

Mortel season 2 is coming to Netflix on 2 July 2021.
