The movie’s plot is probably self-explanatory from the title A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting. In layman’s term, there are Babysitters, there are monsters, and children; the Babysitters are tasked to protect, are threatened by the monsters, resulting in Babysitters going monster hunting.

A detailed plot was provided by Netflix, “When high school freshman Kelly Ferguson reluctantly agrees to babysit on Halloween, she is recruited into a secret society of babysitters who protect kids with special powers from monsters.”

The trailer for the movie also revealed some of the plots for the movie. We see Kelly Ferguson reluctantly filling in a babysitting spot during the Halloween night. She convinces her ward that monsters are not real, but then Boogeyman’s monsters kidnap the boy as night sets in.

Kelly goes after them, but then she meets Liz Lerue, who brings her into a secret society of monster-hunting Babysitters. The kids are in danger of being exploited by the Boogeyman, which is why the secret order of Babysitters has been working for ages to stop him.
