Freddie Thorp has slowly risen in the British TV world over the last half a decade. From his debut in daytime soap Doctors, the actor is now appearing in Netflix series Fate: The Winx Saga as Riven. And before his career took off the actor dated a beautiful girlfriend with whom he was very close.
The actor from England was born on 7 March 1994, to his parents Nick and Antonia Thorp. With his mind towards acting from a young age, Freddie joined Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. He experienced theatre work and later moved on to a career in front of the camera, appearing in TV shows.
Freddie landed a role in the action movie Overdrive in 2017, alongside Scott Eastwood. Later that year he was cast in the Netflix series Safe which was an adaptation of the work of Harlan Coben. Now, he is appearing in the highly anticipated Fate: The Winx Saga, but before that let's talk about the girlfriend he dated before he got famous.
Freddie Throp Girlfriend - Dated a Beautiful Girl for Over Two Years

The British actor is a handsome young man. Twenty-six years of age, there is no denying he has dated a few girlfriends over time. But there was one special person in his life who appeared prominently on his Instagram page during the start of the 2010s.
Freddie Throp dated his girlfriend Sophie Roberton for over two years. They probably dated a little longer but according to his Instagram account, the first picture of the couple was uploaded at the start of 2014. Going by the image-sharing platform we can be certain they were together for more than two years.

Beyond the end of 2015, we are not certain as all picture uploads featuring Sophie faded away. Sophie herself has either never posted about Freddie or deleted his pictures from her Instagram as we can find nothing on her page. But Freddie has never deleted his girlfriend's pictures.
The lovebirds seemed to have had an amazing relationship. Freddie shared pictures of them vacationing together in Italy and there is even a nude back picture featuring both Freddie and his girlfriend. While they never called each other boyfriend or girlfriend, there is no denying they were dating for a while.

We are not certain what happened to the couple but by the start of 2016, Sophie was nowhere to be seen on Freddie's social media. Sophie herself is an actress and we think they met while working together, but what broke them apart is a mystery.
But since then neither Freddie nor his former girlfriend Sophie have posed about their dating life. Other than trips and promotional pictures there is nothing more personal on Freddie's socials. The same is the case for Sophie. They were a good-looking couple, and Freddie not deleting her pictures gotta mean something but as of this writing the former flame has not reconciled.
Freddie Thorp Plays Riven in the Netflix Series Fate: The Winx Saga
Animated hit TV show from Italy, Winx Club is making its way to Netflix as a live-action adaptation. Stylized as Fate: The Winx Saga, the new Netflix series follows Bloom as she is expected to be the most powerful fairy in existence. While training in Alfea she comes across friends, foes, and many magical beings as the girls start out on an adventure.

Freddie Thorp plays Riven in Fate: The Winx Saga. Riven was abandoned by his mother soon after birth which makes him untrusting towards girls. But despite Riven's reservations he falls in love with Musa, still, their relationship is tumultuous. Their on-again-off-again relationship is a major plot point in later seasons of the animated series.
We are not certain if Musa and Riven's relationship will be worked into Fate: The Winx Saga. Netflix is getting stringy with its second season renewals and only six episodes in the first season do not give us much hope. Still, Freddie's relationship with his girlfriend in the show, Musa, will be more fleshed out in Fate: The Winx Saga season 2, if there is one.

Fate: The Winx Saga will have six episodes and the series will be released on 22 January 2021. Abigail Cowen leads the cast as Bloom, Hannah van der Westhuysen as Stella, Eliot Salt as Terra, Elisha Applebaum as Musa, Danny Griffin as Sky, Freddie Thorp as Riven, Precious Mustapha as Aisha, and Sadie Soverall as Beatrix.
