Could Hazel And Cha-Cha Return on The Umbrella Academy Season 3

Hazel and Cha-Cha were not prominent figures on The Umbrella Academy season 2, but could it change in the upcoming season?

Hazel and Cha-Cha had no significant roles in season 2 of The Umbrella Academy, although that could change in the upcoming chapter.

Cameron Britton and Mary J. Blige were the time-traveling assassins hired by the Commission to hunt for Number Five. While the overpowered Hargreeves siblings appeared to be getting the better of the pair by the end of season 1, the duo could still feature in the future editions of the show.

Both Hazel and Cha-Cha are modeled on the characters used in Gerard Way's graphic novels, which acts as the inspiration for the popular Netflix series.

As subordinates of the Commission, Hazel and Cha-Cha were expected to assassinate those who muddle with the timeline. Throughout season 1, Five tried to avert the inevitable apocalypse, so the mercenaries were sent to foil his scheme.

While the duo was committed to their goals, Hazel began to wander out of his job, particularly as he fell in love with a local waitress called Anges.

As animosity developed between Hazel and Cha-Cha, their inability to take down Five and his siblings exacerbated their resentment. By the season 1 finale, Hazel chose Agnes over Cha-Cha and his career, wrecking his car and leaving her to die.

While the entire world was left in ruins by the destruction of Vanya's uncontainable force, Five saved his siblings by taking them back to the 1960s.

Since Hazel and Cha-Cha were popular characters, several fans wondered if they would be part of the second season. It turned out Hazel made use of the Commission suitcase to rescue Agnes from the destruction so that they could share a full life together.

Cha-Cha, on the other hand, reportedly died during the catastrophic event. An old Hazel found Five in 1963 to warn him of another nuclear apocalypse before he was assassinated by the Swedes.

Unfortunately, neither Hazel nor Cha-Cha featured during the remainder of season 2. Based on how the season concluded with the Hargreeves returning to their home on the present day, it seems possible Hazel and Cha-Cha will return to the scene fairly soon.

How Could Hazel and Cha Cha Return on The Umbrella Academy Season 3?

Based on the Hargreeves siblings' meeting with their father prior to their birth and the subsequent differing choices while they were stuck in the' 60s, the family drastically modified the main timeline.

After Five succeeded to return his siblings to 2019, it was a changed version of the world they had known. Fans were provided context into the changes based purely on the fact that Reginald was still around, and he was leading the Sparrow Academy, which included their formerly dead brother, Ben.

With a revamped iteration of the timeline, it's likely Hazel and Cha-Cha are both alive.

Seeing that Herb is now heading the Commission, he may have drawn some strings to get back two of his finest killers for another challenging mission featuring the Hargreeves, except this time they're not going to be antagonists.

Looking at the uncertainty surrounding the Sparrow Academy or Harlan Cooper's scary superpowers, perhaps Hazel and Cha-Cha may work together with the Hargreeves family this time.
