While there is no definitive answer to Holly Marie Combs’s constant weight gain, it could be linked to her battle with autoimmune conditions. Meanwhile, fans who have followed Combs for years are well aware of her admission to having autoimmune conditions. Combs also tweeted about her health issues in August 2021, emphasizing the importance of getting the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine: She tweeted,
Also, I have 2 possibly 3 autoimmune issues. I was fully vaccinated months ago. My husband a month before I. We were the guinea pigs. Guess what? We survived and will survive Delta better as a result. Get vaccinated. If not for you then for the people who shouldn’t have to die.
According to the VR Foundation, one of Combs’ conditions is vitiligo, a condition that can change the color of skin pigment. Many celebrities, including singer Michael Jackson, model Winnie Harlow, and talk show host Graham Norton, have suffered from vitiligo.
Despite the fact that her weight gain is unhealthy and has been pushing her toward various harmful diseases, she appears to be optimistic and loves herself. Similarly, the actress seemed to have found success despite her chubby physique and appearance, as evidenced by her new project on social media posts.
Holly Marie Combs Remembers Being Asked to Wear a Padded Push-Up Bra on Charmed, But Declining!
While working on Charmed, Holly Marie Combs made a significant statement. Combs revealed during the show’s 90s Con panel on March 12, 2022, that she didn’t always wear a bra on set — but there’s a reason for that. Combs recalled,
They tried to be gentle about it, but … the messages would come down through the ranks. And then there would be, you know, that unfortunate person who had to deliver the message to you. Usually, it was down to wardrobe. They were, like, setting these different bras in my dressing room and I was like, ‘Those belong to somebody else. They wanted me to wear a big, padded push-up bra and I was like, ‘no,’ hence why there are so many scenes of me not wearing a bra whatsoever,” she continued. Which I apologize for but at the moment, at the time, it was very important.
