She plays the leading role of Fikile Bhele alongside a whole host of the talented young cast. This is, in fact, her first acting credit to her name, and needless to say, the most significant breakthrough of her career so far.

Debut Role of Fikile Bhele in the Netflix original ‘Blood & Water’
Directed by Nosipho Dumisa, the Netflix original series Blood & Water explores a local girl who investigates the tragic past of her family as she navigates the dynamic world of South African high school.
Daryne Joshua and Travis Taute are the writers and co-directors alongside Dumisa. In addition, the producers are Bradley Joshua and Benjamin Overmeyer, while Simon Beesley takes over the position of editor-in-chief.
The teaser for Blood & Water dropped on 11th May 2020, and we sure can’t wait for what’s in store. Set in South Africa, this latest series focuses on a young girl who is trying to figure out whether her sister, who was abducted at birth, is actually a swimming sensation at her elite school.
Set in the surroundings of Parkhurst College, the prestigious inner-city school for elite scholars and academic overachievers, Blood & Water follows the exploits of 16-year-old Puleng Khumalo (Ama Qamata), as she engineers her transfer to the school to investigate the 17-year-old cold case of the abducted-at-birth older sister she’s never met.
