Motshegetsi Motsi aka Motsi Mabuse is a South African-German dancer. She was born on 11 April 1981 in Mankwe, Bophutatswana, South Africa to African parents, Dudu Mabuse and Peter Mabuse. She moved to Pretoria at the age of five with her family and joined Hillview High School, Pretoria.

Motsi and her sister Oti Mabuse were both interested in dancing from a young age and used to participate in various programs. She began her journey after studying dance at the University of Pretoria.

After Mabuse posted the reel, many of her fans got inspired by her life, and many were wondering about her weight and workout routine. She was dressed elegantly in a pink one-piece, whereas Evgenij was dressed formally in a white t-shirt and black trousers. The couple has been together for more than eight years and also shared a daughter.

Motsi Mabuse was previously married to her high school lover, Timo Kulczak, for 11 years before marrying Evgenij Voznyuk. The couple got married in 2003 but failed to make it last. The reason for the divorce was later explained by Motsi that she was being overruled by her husband. It looks like the 11 years of marriage ended on bad terms, as Timo also took legal action against her ex-wife.

Well, talking about the 41-year-old strictly judge's physical transformation, she opened up about her weight loss journey at the end of 2022. She posted her before and after pictures on Instagram on the occasion of World Mental Health Day and revealed that she had lost 10 kilograms in three months.

Motshegetsi also thanks her trainer for helping her reach her goals. In her post, she talked about being proud, and on the occasion of Mental Health Day, she talked more about being healthy mentally and physically and how to keep confidence in ourselves:

Did you spot the difference? Well not all exercise transformations are visible… Exercise transformation pics can damage our self-confidence and mental health, which is why I’m joining ASICS to encourage you to ditch the harmful before and after pics and celebrate the positive transformation that happens in our minds.

Motsi Mabuse once explained she's always struggled and felt the pressure to remain a certain size as a professional dancer, as her teacher also told her to lose some weight when she was only 50 kg. She was always focused on her weight, and due to the pressure, she also admitted to having many fluctuations in her weight. After many years of trying to look the same, she claimed to have realized she needed to learn more about her own body.

Motsi had previously been praised for her significant progress on her physical transformation journey. She stated in 2017 that she had been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), a disorder that can cause weight gain and fertility issues. To address the issue, she was detained and lost nearly three stone; 19 kg.
