According to People magazine, contestant Jeremy "JR" Robinson and the Braxton Family Values star got engaged. In the waning moments of the season, Robinson made a marriage proposal to people for Tamar saying:
I don't want to be friends with you. I wanna be your spouse. Because I can't imagine my life without you, I'll be here forever. And I adore you, Tamar. Will you marry me, Tamar?
Tamar is accustomed to discussing her romantic affairs in front of the cameras on reality television. The Changed singer has made the public aware of both her turbulent 11-year marriage to Vincent Herbert and her turbulent 2-year relationship with David Adefeso. After Tamar said yes to JR's marriage proposal, Peacock said the pair were talking about their wedding arrangements as the episode came to a close. The Atlanta Black Star, however, said that Tamar and JR were no longer friendly after their encounter. In November 2022, Tamar openly remarked,

Braxton was formerly married to record executive Vincent Herbert; the two separated in 2019 and share a son, Logan. The singer then dated businessman David Adefeso from 2018 to 2020, and they split after an alleged domestic dispute. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she revealed she joined the reality show because she wanted to meet some potential there in a different type of way. She added saying;
We have 6 children between the two of us and they mean EVERYTHING to me. So miss me with for people he has 4 baby mamas!! Thank God for them. Thank God for my best friend, life partner, and fiancée @rarebreednola, we are blessed and drama-free.
One of Robinson's ex-girlfriends, Anaston Jeni, took issue with Braxton's remarks and responded with a lengthy blog post of her own, writing,
I have sat in silence for over a year, respecting everyone's privacy while they disrespected mine.
She continued by saying that Braxton had only brought confusion and needless drama into her and her son's lives. Jeni wrote,
This woman is not my son's stepmother or a bonus. My son doesn't mean 'everything' to her, and she hasn't given thanks to God for me or, to be honest, any of his baby moms.
Braxton has been contacted by Page Six for comment. After posting on her Instagram Stories on Friday about how foolishness doesn't change anything, she does not appear to have responded to Jeni's accusations. Jeremy Robinson, Tamar Braxton's boyfriend, instantly defended her after one of his kids' mothers criticized her for generating chaos and unnecessary turmoil in their lives. The lawyer, who has five children between four different women, stated on his Instagram Stories on Friday,
