Andrew Lincoln is set to star in a new Netflix movie.
It remains doubtful whether Andrew Lincoln will mark his return to The Walking Dead but his fans may be able to see him in a new film in early 2021.
The new movie starring Lincoln, Penguin Bloom, to be released in theaters around the globe, was purchased by Netflix in a variety of major territories.
The film, which also features Naomi Watts, will be shown in North America, the United Kingdom, France, and selected countries in Asia on 27th January.

Based on the novel of the same name by Australian author Bradley Trevor Greive and well-renowned artist Cameron Bloom, the story follows a young family trying to cope with an accident that left their mother, Sam Bloom (played by Naomi Watts), crippled.
Watts and her fellow producers told Variety:
We all fell in love with the life-affirming nature of Sam’s story and her undeniable spirit. The emotional journey she and her family go on after Penguin enters their lives is unforgettable.
They added,
We have a wonderful partner in Netflix and we’re delighted they will be bringing Penguin Bloom to audiences around the world.
Lincoln is obviously best known for his portrayal of Rick Grimes on The Walking Dead, a role he performed for nine seasons before leaving the franchise.
When his final appearance on the series aired in 2018, AMC revealed Lincoln would be leading a series of films based on the show.

However, the coronavirus pandemic meant the project had been postponed, and it’s not known whether it would go into development. Nevertheless, it’s good to know the actor is going to be on our screens again via Netflix in this forthcoming film.
