Rob Huebel was born on 4th June 1969 in Alexandra, Virginia, to parents Louisa Huebel (mother) and Jared Huebel (father). He went to Annandale High School in Annandale, Virginia.
The actor attended Clemson University, where he studied Marketing and wanted to pursue a career in advertising. Following his graduation, Huebel studied improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

Rob Huebel is married to his girlfriend turned wife Holly Hannula, a former KNBC traffic anchor. The lovebirds' dating endeavors prior to their wedding remain foggy; however, they were indeed in a relationship before their nuptial. The couple shares a child together, a daughter named Holden Huebel, born on 28th September 2016.
On 17th November 2016, the actor took to Instagram to celebrate their daughter on World Prematurity Day.

With grateful hearts, my wife and I are celebrating our daughter today on #WorldPrematurityDay. Every year, almost 15 million babies are born too soon. Our daughter was one of them. 7 weeks ago our little babe made her entrance into this world. At just 26 weeks and five days, she had a lot of growing left to do. She weighed just 1 lb 15 oz. But the first words that met her ears were my wife yelling "She's perfect!" Then I yelled "Happy Birthday!" It was a celebration. With lots of yelling."
Rob displayed his appreciation for science and medicine, and "all the badass heroes that work in the NICU watching over these tiny warriors." The actor revealed his daughter had doubled her weight and continued to grow while their hearts were filled with hope.

Huebel claimed he wouldn't normally post something so personal, but he knew he had gotten so much encouragement by reading about other parents that went through this.
