Joanne Clifton’s Weight Gain: Although She Has Become a Little Bigger, She Now Feels Confident About Her Body Transformation!
Joanne Clifton (@realjoanneclifton), a former Strictly Come Dancing professional, has undergone a weight gain. Recent Instagram pictures of Joanne Clifton give the impression that she has put on a little weight. Her weight had not changed significantly, but her admirers could not have disregarded it either. She had experienced slight weight gain and loss over her career, as those who looked back saw. Others began to question why her weight changed constantly and was so unstable as a result.
This is not the first time she has been in the news due to her weight, back in 2016, Joanne Clifton had to deal with trolls and fat shaming. Joanne Clifton, a former professional on Strictly Come Dancing, weighed in on the Kate Ramsay weight jibe controversy and admitted she stopped eating after being labeled chubby. Joanne has described how, after experiencing fat-shaming while working as a professional dancer, she quit eating and subsisted on 11 espressos per day.
This demonstrates the struggles Hollywood stars face to keep up their looks. Every person has a different body; therefore, it's important to keep in mind that what works for one person might not work for another. Joanne Clifton described how she simply drank coffee and made little effort to eat, which left her with a variety of persistent health issues. She has discussed her issues with eating to motivate her followers to live a healthy lifestyle. She sent a sincere message on Instagram, telling followers to look out for the warning signals. She wrote,
I had to have a little talk with myself the other day. I dance less now because I'm trying to stay in shape, but I have to be very careful because I found it's really easy for me to fall back and not eat at all.
She continued by saying;
I guess what I want to say is, Keep well. Be sensible, follow a diet plan that has professional advice, and pay close attention to the pros. It's not worth it to be that tiny. Keep a watch on anyone you know who wants to diet yet has a history of eating disorders.
Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Joanne Clifton has defended Tilly Ramsay after LBC shock jock Steve Allen harshly referred to her as a plump little thing. She criticized the radio host for making such disparaging remarks about a young woman's body. When Tilly demanded that Steve take responsibility for his acts and spoke up for herself, Joanne applauded her for doing so. She said;
I'm so happy Tilly is such a strong woman because she stuck up for herself and called him out on it, the woman continued. She didn't simply ignore it. Her doing that and letting everyone know about it makes me so pleased. Furthermore, she spoke about Tilly's experience on her brother Kevin Clifton's podcast and said;
I was 26 when I was getting remarks that I was overweight and whatnot.
She then focused on motivating dancers and came to this conclusion:
And to any aspiring dancers who might believe the opposite, you are mistaken. Your body has to be properly fueled if you want to dance at your best; you also need to have the energy and stamina.
Although Joanne Clifton has a minor weight gain she looks good and confident now.
