Kimberly-Sue Murray is an actress and producer who graduated from Norman Jewison’s Canadian Film Centre in 2012. She is best known for Crimson Peak (2015), The Lizzie Borden Chronicles (2015), and Perfect Romance (2018).

The Toronto resident, originally from Gaspe, Quebec, attended Dawson College in Montreal, where she studied professional theatre. She subsequently pursued a career in movies and TV in Toronto.

V-Wars is a Netflix sci-fi series based on the best-selling books of the same name from author Jonathan Maberry. Swann’s best friend, Michael Fayne (Adrian Holmes) is one of those murderous predators that feed on the blood of humans. While Luther tries to figure out what’s going on, his best mate Michael becomes the underground leader of the vampires.

The spread of disease begins to fracture society creating opposing factions of humans and vampires escalating into a future war between the two groups.

Kimberly-Sue is portraying the character of Danika in the Netflix series. The other notable cast includes Peter Outerbridge as Calix NiklosLaura Vandervoort as Mila Dubov, Kyle Breitkopf as Dez, and Jacky Lai as Kaylee Vo.

V-Wars premieres on 5th December 2019.

Kimberly-Sue Murray began her career through a TV movie, The Perfect Teacher (2010), playing the role of Monica. In 2013, she appeared in a single episode as Jessica Traynor in The Listener. She subsequently featured in CAT. 8 (2013) and Being Human (2013) as HFD Tech Rebeccas and Emma, respectively, for two episodes each.

The actress played the role of Adele in The Lizzie Borden Chronicles (2015) for three episodes. A year later, she starred in a TV movie, Flower Shop Mystery: Dearly Depotted (2016) as Melanie Turner. She then featured in Killjoys (2016-17) as Louella Simms for a couple of episodes.

Murray’s most significant role came in the Supernatural horror series Shadowhunters (2019). She portrayed the character of Seelie Queen Amara for six episodes.
