The couple started dating at the tail end of last year and have made their relationship official for little under a year. Shakur shared a post on Instagram, confirming that the two of them were dating and the same photo was posted by his girlfriend on 17 December 2020, letting her 1.3 million fans on Instagram about her new man.
Since their first posts, the couple has shared multiple images of each other as Shakur and new girlfriend looked to solidify their relationship. She was his biggest hype-person, coming to fights and cheering on the WBO super featherweight title holder. From the first round it was evident who the better fighter in Atlanta, Georgia was, with fast movement and quick hands Shakur Stevenson was tagging Jamel Herring who looked like he was missing a step. The fight was for the WBO super featherweight title and both fighters were looking to take the belt home. So, the fight was poised for a good contest, but considering Shakur's last showing in June 2021, this was a welcome change.
The fighter was criticized for the conservative approach he implemented against Jeremiah Nakathila. Both fighters were staying away from each other and the commentators were openly criticizing the fight. Later the bout was labeled boring on Twitter with Shakur coming back with a statement saying he will do better. Well, everyone who would've named Shakur's fighting style, boring, had to eat their words as he proceeded to entertain and be fast than his opponent.
