The Wednesday series on Netflix has an intriguing, haunting mystery connected to homicides in the Jericho region. When Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) joins Nevermore, she meets the murderer right away and is drawn into the investigation. While the local sheriff is perplexed, Wednesday provides her cues. On Wednesday, the true serial killer's identity and their role in the larger deadly scheme will be made public.

In the first episode of the series, a local hiker becomes the creature that prowls the shadows' next horrifying victim. As shots in the first episode reveal Sheriff Donovan Galpin (Jamie McShane) staring at his murder board with no obvious suspects, Wednesday quickly grows uneasy about the secrets of Jericho. In Netflix's Wednesday, Tyler Galpin is the offspring of Sheriff Donovan Galpin of Jericho. Tyler initially encounters Wednesday Addams at the Weathervane Cafe Bakery, where he works, and he vows to assist her in leaving Nevermore. They become more romantically involved as the show goes on. However, Wednesday learns important things about the youngster near the end of the season that alter her opinion of him.

Tyler Galpin is played by actor Hunter Doohan (@hunterdoohan). Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on January 19, 1994, Hunter Doohan is 28 years old as of 2022. Hunter's most notable roles to date, aside from Wednesday, include those of Bryan Cranston's son Adam Desiato in the Showtime drama series Your Honor and of a young man named Warren in the Apple TV+ drama Truth Be Told. Other appearances by Hunter include those in the television show Schooled, What If? Where We Disappear, and Westworld.

It's incredibly simple to support Tyler because of how the writers have crafted him. As the story goes on, the significance of these tidbits increases. At first glance, Tyler seems like a nice young man. He and his father have some problems, but these were reportedly brought on by grief. Although Xavier frequently asserts that Tyler is a bad guy, this can be attributed to his resentment of Wednesday and Tyler's developing romance. A year has passed since the incident involving the artwork, and Xavier needs to learn how to let go.

Tyler Galpin inherited the Jekyll and Hyde characteristics from his mother. Marilyn Thornhill (Christina Ricci), whose real name is Laurel Gates, uses her drugs to release the beast from Tyler and keep him in check, turning him against Nevermore and everyone else who she believes has mistreated her family.

Initially, Wednesday targets Xavier and their shared therapist, since he believes Xavier to be Hyde and Dr. Valerie Kinbott to be his controller. This ultimately results in Xavier's arrest. Wednesday tries to torment Tyler Galpin after she realizes the truth, but it doesn't work. She continues to think Kinbott is in charge of Hyde at this point.

But after the elderly woman is brutally murdered, Wednesday discovers who the real murderer is. Until the last episode of the season, when Wednesday kisses him and has a vision that makes her know that he is monster Hyde, the monster responsible for numerous killings in Jericho, he continues to be the main male protagonist. The potential for a relationship between Tyler and Wednesday and the tumultuous relationship Tyler has with his father over the latter's reluctance to discuss his late wife are both established in the pilot episode.

Weems, posing as Tyler Galpin, is introduced to Laurel in the show Wednesday. Weems is killed in the process, even if she obtains the desired confession. In the decisive battle, Enid, who had just turned into a werewolf for the first time, faced Tyler in his Hyde form and defeated him while Wednesday and some of her companions battled a revived Crackstone and Laurel. Tyler is being held by cops the final time we see him this season. The monster comes out of Tyler Galpin just as his van passes the Addam family car, but as revealed he is not dead.
