Based on the series of books published by Robyn Carr, the romantic Netflix drama follows Mel as she moves to the slow town of Virgin River working as a nurse practitioner at the town clinic. Dealing with heartbreak and looking for a way to find herself agains, the quiet California town offers peace quite and respite for the nurse while also giving her another shot at love.
The first two seasons of the show were a massive success for the streaming platform evident by the early renewals. Netflix has been growing more and more stringy with their renewal orders, but when it comes to the beloved romance drama they have a itchy trigger finger. So, it appears we are getting Virgin River season 4, the third installment will not resolve all the issues and fans have something more to look forward to in the coming year.

According to Production Weekly, issue number 1249, released on 2 June 2021, Virgin River season 4 is on the way. The third installment of the beloved series is coming in July and after three weeks the cast will be off to start filming the fourth season according to the issue. The production is set to take place between 28 July and 30 November 2021 which means an even earlier release date.

Virgin River season 3 was renewed in late December 2020 and seven months later we are getting a finished show. With that timeline at work here also we will probably get Virgin River season 4 in February 2022. Imagine the fourth season releasing on the hit romantic series coming on Valentine's Day, now that would be perfect marketing and release date for the show.
Now, we are waiting for the third season's release on 9 July 2021. After the cliffhanger ending of season 2 finale, there is much excitement for new episodes.
