A two-year-old Brec Bassinger stood in her first pageant show in 2001, and the young 20-year-old actress today says those experiences helped her when it comes to performing and standing in front of people. From the first time she was involved in the production of a movie, at the age of six, acting was something she wanted for herself. Now, 14 years later, Brec is starring as a DC superhero in the new DC Universe series Stargirl.
Brec Bassinger was born on 25 May 1999 to her parents in Saginaw, Texas, where she was raised by her middle-class parents, along with her two older brothers Beric and Brice. The actress said her mother used to take her to beauty pageants, and she loved being around all the girls, some of whom are still her friends. Stargirl is based on the work of Geoff Johns, who created the character of Stargirl and based it on the life of his young sister, who died in a plane crash. When DC asked him to create a show, the first thing he thought of was Stargirl, and the pitch he gave to Warner Bros. and DC was well received, which resulted in the character getting a green light for production as a live-action series on the new DC Universe.
Stargirl follows Courtney Whitmore, who is a teenager from LA but is forced to move to a small town in Nebraska after her mother marries Pat Dugan. Later Courtney realizes Pat is the former superhero sidekick Stripesy and finds the staff of Starman. Inadvertently she possesses the power of Starman and becomes Stargirl, which forces Pat to come out of retirement and results in Courtney to try to assemble the Justice Society of America.

The show is set in parallel earth to the Arroverse world occupied by Arrow and Flash. The character was mentioned in the highly anticipated crossover of Crisis on Infinite Earth. Stargirl’s trailer was released in April, and the show is set for premiere on The CW network on 19 May 2020.

Brec Bassinger Won Little Miss World in 2009 and Started Her Acting Career at 13 Years Old
Form a young age, the actress was part of different pageant shows, and she won the Little Miss World title in 2009 at the age of 10. At the same time, the actress was also training to be an actress; she was discovered during a beauty pageant when a director spotted her and put her in a movie.
