Drew Starkey (@drewstarkey), who was born in the United States on November 4, 1993, is of white ethnicity and American nationality, and like his family, he is also a devout Christian. In terms of his family, the actor is the son of Todd Starkey and Jodi Ballard from Hickory, North Carolina.

Meanwhile,  his father is a basketball coach at Kent State and his mother works as a counselor at North Carolina's Startown Elementary School. Drew's parents divorced when he was young, and his mother later remarried a man named Brian Hutto. However, there is no specific information about his parents has been revealed as of now. But, the actor is known to have three siblings, sister Mackayla Starkey, and brothers Lo Starkey and Brooke Starkey.

Drew was raised by his family in Hickory, North Carolina, and attended St. Stephens High School. Later,e attended Western Carolina University after graduating from high school. In 2016, he graduated from the university with a double major in English and Theatre Performance. Later, Drew decided to pursue a career in acting after graduating from university and began by appearing in short films where he played a minor role.

After a long break and struggle, Drew Starkey was cast in the film American Animals where he seemed in the film as Fart Boy, a minor role. It was a crime, thriller, documentary drama film directed and written by Brat Layton, and it was produced by D. Schlesinger, Katherine Butler, M. J. Skalski, and Dimitri Doganis. The film premiered in theaters on January 19, 2018, which was the only beginning of his acting career. Later, he made his acting debut in the short film The Radical Notion of Gene Mutation in 2014.

In 2018, he was given another fantastic opportunity to star in Love Simon, a popular Romantic comedy-drama film where he played Garrett Laughlin in that role. The plot of the film was adapted from the novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda. Drew collaborated on the film with many celebrities, including Jennifer Garner and Katherine Langford. The film was released on February 27, 2018, to rave reviews. Later that year, he seemed in another hit film, The Hate U Give.

In addition, Drew Starkey appeared as Hawkins in the TV series Scream, in 2019. Following this series, he began to gain public recognition. In the same year, he played Ryan in another mystery drama, Mine 9. The film received a fantastic response and was well received by audiences, allowing them to win four awards. During the same year, he seemed in a number of other TV shows and films, including Just Mercy, Queen Sugar, and many others.

Later he rose to prominence quickly after landing a big break in Outer Banks, a Netflix series set to premiere in 2020. He played the role of Rafe. With a 7.6 rating on IMDb, this series was a huge success. This seems to be an endless list of his accomplishments.
