Jake Fromm is the third string quarterback for he Buffalo Bills who is in line to get cut from the 53 man 2021 roster this year. For a second year QB to face the axe in the second season is not an easy thing but the player has his faith in god as well as his girlfriend/fiancé who will soon become his wife, all behind him, willing him on and praying for success.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback was born on 30 July 1998, to his parents Lee Fromm and Emerson Fromm. He is one of three kids of his parents and from a young age Jake leaned towards sports. He was a star baseball player with batting and pitching skills but it was football where the Georgia native truly thrived. He was a five star recruit coming out of college and after initially committing to Alabama the player decided to stay in Georgia and play for the Bulldogs.
Jake Fromm was a massive success at the college level and after three years of noticeable performances the player declared for the draft. He was selected in the fifth round by the Buffalo Bills as a developmental prospect backing up former rookie John Allen, who blew up into an MVP candidate in his second year. Despite the challenging transition to NFL, Jake has always had the support of his girlfriend (they got engaged in 2021) and they are getting married soon.

Jake Fromm arrived was a freshman in 2017 when he made the Georgia Bulldogs team. The player went on to star in the Rose Bowl in 2018, then losing out in the National Championship to Alabama with a less than flattering scoreline. But by that time he had announced his arrival at the national college level stage. At the same time, his girlfriend Caroline Ostman was playing Volleyball at the same college.
Both met for the first time in 2018 and soon their love for sports and god meant the two found attracted to one another. By 17 September 2018 they were celebrating their first anniversary and both started to appear in each other's Instagram frequently. The love and support was enough to get them through college, well up to the final year when Jake decided to try his hand in the NFL. Now after a year in the NFL, the third string QB is getting married to his girlfriend/soon-to-be-wife Caroline Ostman.

The couple got engaged on 29 March 2021 in Athens, Georgia, surrounded by their friends and family. A picturesque location, surrounded by friends and family, a diamond ring, and a beautiful lady, Jake does know how to make an impact.

Sharing about the day, Jake's soon to be wife wrote, "I get to marry the man of my DREAMS!! William Jacob Fromm I love you with my whole heart and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. Yesterday was the sweetest day of my life. I am completely overwhelmed by the Lord’s perfect plan and perfect love. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Ecclesiastes 4:9-12."
Both soon to be husband and wife were thankful to god for bringing them in each other's lives and praying for a good life together. Caroline's Instagram is filled with preparations for their wedding. From bridal shower to bachelorette parties, it is all there for all to see. But at the end of the day, the couple are happy to be married soon, right before the season starts on Jake's 2nd year.

Did Jake Fromm Get Cut From the Buffalo Bills in 2021?
Last year was a bad one for rookie players in the NFL, with no offseason to speak of, the rookies from later rounds did not get to show their talents. Even before the draft, pandemic meant the players did not get to do one on one meetings with teams and pro days were canceled. This resulted in Jake not getting enough time to make up for his shaky finish in the final year of college.
Jake fell all the way to the fifth rough because of the issues with time and lack of visibility leading up to the draft day. While he did make the 53 man roster cut in 2020 as a third string QB, the road seems a little hard for the 2nd year player this time around. Mitch Trubisky was traded from the Bears and now Bills have two first rounders in their roster as QBs.

Josh has proven himself to be one of the best QBs in the league while Mitch stills appears to have some juice left. While there are expectations Mitch will be moved on soon, that still leaves Jake competing with Davis Webb for the third spot. It looks unlikely Bills will carry three QBs into the season so there are talks coming from Bills media that Jake Fromm might not make the 53 man roster cut. But it is still to be seen as the player appears to be playing for his job during training camp.
