Kingsley Ben-Adir is making guest appearances in the Hulu original series High Fidelity (2020).

The actor was born to an English mother and Moroccan father in London. He grew up in Gospel Oak, a suburb in the North-West of the city.

Ben-Adir went to William Ellis School in Gospel Oak, Northwest London. Later, he enrolled in Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he graduated in 2011.

Ben-Adir starred in numerous theater plays in London. The actor is best known for World War Z (2013), Trespass Against Us (2016), and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017).

High Fidelity is an American romantic series that follows “the ultimate music fan, a record store owner who’s obsessed with pop culture and Top Five lists” in the neighborhood of Crown Heights, Brooklyn.”

Created by Sarah Kucserka and Veronica West, the show is based on the British novel High Fidelity (1995). Likewise, it is inspired by the 2000 movie of the same name starring John Cusack, Jack Black, and Lisa Bonet.

During an interview with Vulture in March 2019, Kingsley Ben-Adir mentioned his girlfriend but did not reveal her identity. The actor was asked if he could talk about The OA with people he knew since the show is pretty secretive in nature.

Ben-Adir said,

I didn’t tell anyone what I was doing. I told my friends and family that I was just going to do a pilot season. I mentioned to my girlfriend that I was filming a show because she needed to know.

The interviewer then wondered how hard it was for the actor’s partner when he revealed he’d be gone for five months. The actor responded,

She got to come up once, but yeah. Part of the job, eh?

Although Kingsley’s dating life largely remains a mystery, he is expected to shed further light on his relationship with his secret girlfriend as he gains more stardom in the days to come.
