With 63 million households projected to reach in the first four weeks of its release, Bridgerton is one of the most successful freshman shows on Netflix. People gobbled up the romance from Regency-era so much so that Rege-Jean Page's girlfriend rumor flew all the way to his co-star Phoebe Dynevor's lap as both well linked romantically in real life.
All of this rumor is due to the steamy relationship the couple share on Netflix's show from Shonda Rhimes. Bridgerton follows Daphne Bridgerton and Duke Simon Basset as they form a secret pact to find a better match for the former, and escape marriage altogether for the latter. We understand why there is so much talk about Rege-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor dating in real life. There is no way of talking about Bridgerton and no speak about the episode dedicated completely to Simon and Daphne's honeymoon.
The romantic scenes in that movie have been talked about ad nauseam by multiple outlets. We will just say that the whole episode is a steaming treat of hotness. Seeing something like that would definitely make people talk about the chemistry the couple shared on screen and speculate if it spilled off-screen as well.

Phoebe and Rege were calling into Access where they were asked the question of dating in real life. Rege was quick to make it clear that he has admiration for Phoebe but they are just good friends. He pointed out that the relationship started out and ended on camera, he did not use the exact word but it is safe to say Phoebe Dynevor is not Rege-Jean Page's girlfriend.
During the interview, the Simon Basset actor said, "I think everything you need to know is on camera. That's why we presented it so beautifully for you. All the sparks that flew off of the beautiful scripts that we were handed, and so I think that the sparky scripted material are more than enough."

Phoebe and Rege make a great couple on screen. They were fantastic in Bridgerton, and will possibly return it there is Bridgerton season 2 but at the moment it is pretty clear they are not dating. Rege neither has a girlfriend or a wife at the moment but considering everything, he probably won't stay that way for long.
