Nimue is the centerpiece of the war against Paladins and King Uther, with Arthur tagging along in a path they are both destined to and tied to.
In Netflix series Cursed, Nimue is on the run from the Red Paladins as they crackdown on magic and magic wielders. But when they are trapped in a corner, she stands up to fulfill her destiny as the leader of a rebellion and the tragic fate of ending up as the Lady of the Lake. Nimue encounters different people on her path, a mercenary looking for Merlin, who goes by the name Arthur, is one of the persons she encounters, and it changes both of their lives.

Shalom Brune-Franklin plays Morgan le Fay in the Netflix series Cursed. Morgan or Morgana is a villainous character in literature and past iterations of the character. She is described as a powerful witch, but according to Shalom, Morgan le Fay is moving in a different direction than the Arthurian legend. Morgan le Fay is described as a freedom fighter and someone who embodies strong female values, according to the actress.
Netflix is releasing the new show on 17 July 2020. Cursed cast members include Katherine Langford as Nimue, Devon Terrell as Arthur, Gustaf Skarsgard as Merlin, Peter Mullan as Father Carden, Lily Newmark as Pym, Shalom Brune-Franklin as Morgan le Fay, Daniel Sharman as The Weeping Monk, with Sebastian Armesto and Emily Coates also appearing.

Shalom Brune-Franklin was not someone who thought she was going to start a career in show business. She never thought of becoming an actress until the fateful day when she found out she failed the math class. Shalom decided to fill her time by joining the theatre, and to her own surprise, it was an experience she needed to realize how good she really was. An error led her to something which would later become the career of Shalom.
She started University, but due to her not being eligible for naturalized citizenship then, Shalom could not finish her first term because of the large fees foreign students needed to pay. But again, one door closed, and another burst open for Shalom, who auditioned for the Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and she was selected without even being able to pay.
Everything was leading the actress to a career in show business, and after graduating in 2015, she moved between Australia and London, working in both industries. She starred in Doctor Doctor, where she found her partner and Our Girl. She later moved on to Bad Mothers, which led her to an eventful 2020.
Coming out first is her work in the Netflix series Cursed, where she is playing Morgan le Fay. Then there is the hush-hush role in the critically acclaimed police drama series Line of Duty, and finally, Shalom appears in a thriller movie Roadkill alongside Hugh Laurie. Shalom Brune-Franklin was born on 18 August 1994 to her English father and Mauritian mother in St. Albans, United Kingdom. She was the first of two kids of her parents; she has a younger brother Siam. The whole family moved to Australia while she was still young, and Shalom got her education in the land down under.
