JP reportedly canceled their connection by text shortly after leaving the experiment, and they are no longer together.
The fourth season of Love is Blind started with 30 cast members on Netflix. They were quickly reduced to just 11 core individuals, ten of whom became engaged as one of the five main couples. Season 4 includes a mix of likable characters (like Cameron and Lauren from season 1) and unlikeable characters (like Shake from season 2).
If you haven’t seen the show, it follows 30 singles as they enter pods to interact and fall in love through a wall. People eventually fall in love and decide to get married before even meeting. The couples then venture out into the world to try to work things out. They have a few weeks to decide whether or not they want to marry.
Ava and JP 32 were the second couples to get involved in the pods. He was thought to be getting to know Ava, Chelsea, and Micah initially, but as Chelsea and Micah decided to pursue things with Kwame and Paul, so he reportedly drifted away from his emphasis entirely on her. JP reportedly canceled their connection by text shortly after leaving the experiment, saying he wanted to take things gradually and at a later date. So they are no longer together. According to reports, Ava interpreted this as the end of their relationship. She apologized to those who were looking forward to the news, saying;
I am very sorry to disappoint you. If you give me a minute, I’ll explain the matter from my perspective.

As a divorcee entering the pods, Ava felt double the pressure and double the excitement about finding her next mate. After witnessing the experiment’s previous success, she chose to lead with an open heart and open mind. JP was seeking a new beginning after his nearly six-year relationship ended during the pandemic.
Early on in the pods, both naturally gravitated toward one another. JP stood out to her because of his fun, emotionally in tune, and communicative personality. Meanwhile, he was taken by her tenacity and how she had overcome so much in her life while being quite successful. When JP got down on one knee, all indicators pointed to a happily ever after. Ava recalls the two kissing and being fun and playful, JP said;
Everything I experienced in [the pods] felt real. I was so excited when she said yes. In terms of the long-awaited announcement.

He ended their relationship by text message after they left the experiment, even though they were engaged. He expressed a desire to take things slow and date. According to reports, she saw this as the end of their relationship. “I saw him at the airport, and he was a completely different person. Ava explained;
As we were boarding the plane, I felt my phone vibrate and pinged a little bit, and I looked down, and he sent me a text ending the engagement.
According to JP, he wanted to reset expectations since he believed that continuing to marry on this timeframe outside of the experiment would be impractical. She, on the other hand, was shocked and humiliated by the exchange. Ultimately, the two were unable to re-establish their relationship by the time they returned home, laying the groundwork for their breakup.
Ava is now focusing on her mental health.

He states that, as a result of the experiment’s ups and downs, he now approaches love and life differently and has learned what he’s worth. While she admits to first regretting her actions, she has emerged from the experience as a stronger person. She said;
There’s just been so much growth and self-development. I discovered what I want, don’t want, and deserve. None of it was fair to me. I know I’ll find love again; it’ll just take time.
