The allure of show business is undeniable, the glitz and the glamour is something which captures the imaginations of many aspiring actors. Islam Bouakkaz was also one of those aspiring to make it big the world of acting, and after some years of short movies and hard work, the actor is now one of the supporting characters in the highly anticipated series The Letter for the King.
Born to an Algerian family, Islam Bouakkaz arrived on this earth about 23 years ago and is both an Algerian and British citizen. He grew up and was raised in the United Kingdom, where he also developed his appetite for acting. The actor finished schooling, and soon after he was done, he enrolled in acting academy to get him the best chance he has of making it in the world of acting.

Islam Bouakkaz started out with stage plays, followed by short movies and finally graduating to TV and movie show level. He started his career formally in 2018, but then he was hired to play one of the characters in the series The Letter for the King, which resulted in him traveling Europe, training and being ready to film the series.

After years of hostilities between Unauwen and Evillan, there is finally seems to be someone who is able to break the will power and resistance of the people of Evillan. Prince Viridian, played by Gijs Blom, is on a quest to conquer all the lands and young Tiuri, played by Amir Wilson, is one a quest to become a knight, like his father, but The Letter for the King pits them against one another, as the fate of the realm hangs in the balance.
Islam Bouakkaz plays Arman in the series, one of the skeptical friends of Tiuri, who doesn’t think to deliver the letter is the brightest of ideas. But when push comes to shove, he is willing to do what it takes for his friends. From what we can make of the poster and the trailer, he is a crossbow-wielding funny man with a big heart.

The battle is raging for the soul of the realm, and the kids have what it takes to stop it all. But it is not going to be an easy road for all of them, which is why the kids need to work together to complete their quest.

The Letter for the King will be made available worldwide by Netflix on 20 March, starring Amir Wilson, Gijs Blom, Ruby Ashbourne Serkis playing Lavinia, Nathanael Saleh playing Piak, Thaddea Graham playing Iona, Jack Barton playing Foldo, Jonah Lees playing Jussipo, Emilie Cocquerel playing Queen Alianor, Jakob Oftebro playing Crown Prince Iridium and Yorick van Wageningen playing King Favian.

Soon after Islam Bouakkaz was done with his education, the actor enrolled in an acting program to further his dream career. He went to Arts Educational Schools in 2015, where he studied Acting for three years and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2018.
The funny thing is, his co-star in The Letter for the King, Thaddea Graham, also studied in Arts Educational Schools from 2015 to 2018. This was also probably the reason why they were close during the shooting of the series. Thaddea shared some images of the two training and visiting Prague after shooting.

The same school probably helped the two actors form a tighter bond during the shooting of the series. The actor also recently got awarded for a short film he made at the London Short Series Festival. It seems the study at the school pays off, considering two people from the same school are playing a supporting role in the same series.

The first post, Islam Bouakkaz made, on his Instagram page is with other cast members of The Letter for the King. It seems the actor is pretty new to using the image sharing site and also other social media platforms. All in all, he’s made about 16 posts on his page, and the follower count is also pretty low, which is going to see a bump after the release of the series.
So, the actor is not sharing much when it comes to informing about his personal life. All the posts are about his work, and this leads us to believe the actor is not really looking to get in a relationship. He seems to be single and considering his age and the recently budding career; he seems to be focused on one thing, furthering his acting career and then everything else.
