Cristiano Caccamo was born on 21 March 1989 to his parents in Calabria, Taurianova. His father, Michele Caccamo, is a published poet, and Cristiano grew up in a small village with his family. The actor said life in the small town was not easy; he said it was never comfortable and he could not wait to leave the place. The Under the Riccione Sun star moved to Umbria and continued his education in a boarding school, later enrolling in an acting school to start a career in show business.
The Ciro actor enrolled in Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia after high school, and his first acting role came in the opera Ciechi, where he played a side role as a soldier.
