O’Toole tied the knot with actor husband Bill Geisslinger on 8th April 1983. The couple shared two kids, both daughters, named Nell and Anna. The pair were married for ten years before deciding to depart in 1993.

Followed her divorce, Annette got married to her second husband, actor/comedian Michael McKean, who she first met while he was working on the American sitcom Laverne & Shirley. The couple got really close in 1997 after they starred together in the lifetime movie Final Justice (1998).

Merely a year later, the lovebirds took their wedding vows. O’Toole and McKean were married in March 1999.

The husband and wife duo made a guest appearance in season 10, episode 18, titled ‘Mega’ of the police procedural series Law & Order in 2000. The pair played the role of a wealthy on-screen couple who were accused of murder.
